Is this the one who we tried to sign from Blackpool if so glad we missed out on him seeing how Lloyd Dyer ripped him to shreds with his pace yesterday.

To be fair I thought he did OK and only got caught out a couple of times (granted one of those cost them a goal)

Baptiste can play full back, centre half and centre mid.

As a squad player he could have been handy at times for us.

Baptise is a CB to be fair to him. But stated above can play RB too. Which could have been handy for us. But we're top of the league and hopefully strengthen in January

Lloyd would have tore Lahm a new one yesterday.

Dyer is possibly the best winger in the league at the moment , he is on fire and I doubt many defenders would be able to handle him (I would even include premier league in that). What a brilliant run and finish yesterday.

Does anyone know what might be behind Dyers form this season?

Do we have a new coach teaching him how to shoot& cross?

Just confidence?

Whatever has changed its brilliant

I don't think he does a huge amount differently to previous years, but I always though his final ball / shot was lacking... almost as if he was so quick his brain couldn't keep up and he'd end up fluffing it once he got in the box

Different animal these days though, and I am loving it!

Never rated Baptiste and pleased we didn't get him. Although Dyer's pace would cause many full backs problems, Baptiste isn't a full back he is a centre back.

Emphasising our game on counter attacking and Dyer himself actually making himself available.

His touch seems to have seriously improved this year. He's an asset.

I know one thing, if i was a manager in this league i would be demanding a piss test pre match. Pretty sure he drinks a litre of petrol pre kick off

If he is a right back, he wouldn't be for me. One of the reasons Lloyd was so good was because Baptiste was so poor.

He was easy pickings for Lloyd yesterday, it was very noticeable.

Lloyd made an experienced player look dreadful yesterday.

So for me, a mixture of Lloyd being very good and Baptiste being poor.

Bolton played with 4 centre backs so I would expect Lloyd and Reg to tear them a new one.

Just shows how clueless Freedman is.

I cant understand why he is still in a job.

I think he has the potential to be a decent manager at this level personally. Time will tell

I thought Ream looked decent.

Dyer's shooting has not improved, when he swings that left leg in the direction of the ball he knows about as much as we do in terms of what direction the ball will take flight. This season they have just ended up in the net and good on him.

Can be infuriating at times, like to take two instead of one on but more often than not he wins the battle.

I love Lloyd, the infuriating feck!!

I think Dyer's form has been because in previous seasons he was our only threat with pace, now with Vardy having a stormin season. Drinky and James have also started running at defenders with the ball, added to rdl and knocky driving into the box with the ball more this season, defending teams do not know who to mark and can't just push Dyer out wide and nullify our threat.
