DennisNedry Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Kasper - 8 - Some good saves, but missed a cross that should have been headed in. Konch - 4 - Almost cost us 2 goals. Moore - 6 - Dodgy game today. Morgan - 8 - Beast. De Laet - 7 - Solid but showed nothing of his attacking quality. Dyer - 5 - Hardly touched the ball. Drinky - 7 - Solid rather than spectacular. James - 7 - " Knockaert - 6 - Hardly in the game. Vardy - 6 - One good shot, and his usual effort, but inneffective. Nugent - 7 - Inneffective for 88 minutes, then won us another game. Phillips and King looked good.
MGLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 No way is Konchesky consistently the worst player - had a bad game today, but he has put in decent shifts for most of the season.
Joe Weetman Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 I like konchesky, but today he was f***ing dreadful
Danno Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Schmeichel 8 - some great saves but flaps at everything as usual. De Laet 6.5 - standard Morgan 8 - bossed it Moore 5- him and Konch were all over the place in the first half. Better when he went to RB. Konchesky 4- had a nightmare and was not his usual steady self. Probably still recovering from injury. Knockaert 6 - liability. Did nothing of note. Drinkwater 7 - class but unspectacular as per! James 7- class again Dyer 5 - couldn't do anything as was marked out of the game today. Nugent 6- struggled to get into the game, great reactions for the goal Vardy 6 - see nugent
Winnershfox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Far to critical. We battled out a good win but honestly some of the players scores 2 or 3 come on !!. We won and to me team performance and determination got us through. Konch 2 errors yes but the rest of the game he was steady. Awful , nightmare etc etc all over the top!!.
Thracian Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Knockaert's been kindly marked for a guy who could so easily have been sent off and cost us the game.

I do not think its over the top to say Konch was awful today. He was really poor, often out of position. I have thought for much of the season he has been clearly our worst performer. I do not want to make him a scapegoat and when he first arrived I thought he was consistently good. I think rather like Wellens did, he has reached a point where his best is clearly behind him. Sad when he has been a great servant to the club, but Pearson must recognise this is currently our weakest position.
Dickov22 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Knockaert's been kindly marked for a guy who could so easily have been sent off and cost us the game. Sent off???!
elangLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Sent off???! Was on a booking and barged a player-could have been a second yellow
Soar Fox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Was on a booking and barged a player-could have been a second yellow It was hardly a yellow card offence.
Bryn Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Schmeichel 8 De Laet 6 Morgan 7 Moore 6 Konchesky 4 Knockaert 6 Drinkwater 6 James 7 Dyer 5 Vardy 6 Nugent 6.5
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Nuge was closer to a red for that idiotic kick out at a defender right at the start of the game.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Kasper 8 (How someone above has given him a 10 is ridiculous, remember them 2 flaps in the first half!?) RDL 6Morgan 8 (MOTM)Moore 6Konch 4Knocky 6James 7DD 6.5Dyer 5 Vardy 6Nugent 7 Kev 7King 7Was N/A
Bert Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Kasper 8 - had to deal with a lot of crosses and made some great saves. RDL 6 - Didn't think he offered a great deal in defence or attack, gave everything he could give though. Konch 4 - Almost cost us a couple of goals. Morgan 9 - My MOTM. Dealt with a tricky strike force very well. Strong and good in the air. Moore 6 - A few clumsy mistakes here and there but still played his part in a clean sheet. Knocky 6 - One shot that almost went in, tough afternoon as he had little time or space. Dyer 5 - Didn't get into the game. Drinky 7 - Started off sloppy but as the game went on he grew into and started to assert himself a bit more. James 8 - Close for MOTM. Quality all round battling midfield performance. He is a fantastic player who we are still to see the best of. Vardy 6 - Hit the post with a great effort, and that was his only sniff. Great work rate as per. Nuge 6 - Like any of our "front 4" got little change from their back four or the ref, was in the right place at the right time to score, reacted very quick. Wasyl 6 - Could've easily been sent off but was otherwise solid. Phillips 6 - Has an aura about him. We seemed to have a bit more space when he came on. Had a few half chances. Great dummy which lead to the goal. King 6 - Must be a dream to manage. Does his bit for the team whether it's for 90 or 15. Played a key role in the goal.
drofmor55 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 was impressed with the way Jamie Vardy put himself about today... often in the past we have been bullied out of games (especially last year) after thier 6-0 defeat last week , it was clear that Brian Mcdermott had told them to get stuck in.. but Vardy wasnt going to let them have it all thier own way...Michael Brown has always been a physical player, even when he was at Spurs
surrifox Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Kebe, without that blistering pace he had is.....a Sunday league player. this. When did he turn so crap ? awful control and decision making no wonder palace never gave him a game and got rid
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Kasper was great and MOM for me. James just behind him he was every where and worked hard both ways. Morgan was great defensively but did go for the long ball too regularly in the first half.
Thracian Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 It was hardly a yellow card offence. Thankfully, that's how the referee saw it, but it looked like a calculated foul to me and there's many a referee would have booked him. It was an irresponsible thing to do and with no particular need.
dmayne7 Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Thankfully, that's how the referee saw it, but it looked like a calculated foul to me and there's many a referee would have booked him. It was an irresponsible thing to do and with no particular need. The flip side to that is that his actual booking was certainly not a booking so if we're playing Devil's advocate, then he wouldn't have been booked for that so its irrelevant.
