Shall I compare thee to how Brazil play?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the league tables in May,
And summer's friendlies hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot David Nugent shines,
And not often is Lloyd Dyer's talent dimm'd,
And every shot from far Kasper declines,
By chance, or Knockearts changing course untrimm'd:
But Kevin Phillips skill shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that ball thou ow'st,
Nor shall Nigel brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in score lines to time thou grow'st,

So long as Wes can breathe, or Liam can see,

So long lives Leicester, and gives life to thee.

How much is Shakey a part of our success? I'm thinking a huge part. I reckon he might be the best assistant manager we've ever had, yes, even better than John Robertson (who I never felt got so quite involved.) Maybe it's just because since Nigel has stepped back a bit and it's Shakey we see on the touchline belting out the order, I'm not sure. I'm sure everyone will have an opinion of the guy, but there doesn't always seem to be a lot said about him, except in passing (I'm aware of Stans thread, but that's more of a contracts discussion thread about backroom staff in general).

In any case just thought I'd through this out there, I'm sure the Mods will merge if they see fit.

John Robertson was very involved not only in coaching but on player transfers. The oneil/Robertson partnership very similar to clough/taylor.

The only time O'neil failed was at Sunderland his first job without Robertson.

He's turning us into "Boring, Boring, Leicester, winning match after match.

Now we can take it for granted that we'll win every week, there's no longer a sense of impending doom, supporting City.

Shakespeare out!

I love Shakey. I've always liked him, maybe it's his name. I'm not really a massive fan of old Billy though. Your version is much better :)

A bit harsh on Robbo though. I'm pretty sure he was crucial to everything good that Martin did.

And I think davieG and some others might have something to say about Bert Johnson.

Agree with this. I have recently read Harry Redknapp's book and he talked about when he was contacted about the job here, when Micky Adams took it, and he was told by the chairman he would only be needed on the training ground 1 day a week (Friday) as per MON.

As for this thread, yep the partnership with Pearson clearly works and shaky is integral to it so long may our success continue

Superb! Some theories abound that he's really Christopher Marlowe.
