MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 His passing is crap. FFS he's a defender and he defends well. Dyer's shooting is poor Wood can't jump. but Konchesky can do what he's paid to do which is defend.
I blame Wellens Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 He is the player that is most need of beng replaced. He knows it. It's as simple as that. Found wanting again today. Consistently our poorest player this season. Very confused by some of the responses on here.

MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 What 's the joke Wookey Konchesky does what he's paid to do - he's a solid defender
Kinowe Soorie Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 What 's the joke Wookey Konchesky does what he's paid to do - he's a solid defender Solid like a statue!!
MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 Solid like a statue!! Good job Nige understands his value then and rewards him with a new contract. Unless of course you are better informed than our manager?
Kinowe Soorie Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 He'll do for now. But if we get promotion, he won't get a sniff!
MGLCFC Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 He'll do for now. But if we get promotion, he won't get a sniff! Think he'll be decent cover in the Prem - played there with several clubs so knows the ropes. I'm not saying he should be in our long term plans but PK is a decent, honest, hard working professional who won't let you down and can pass on his experience to a future replacement, a bit like Phillips can help out strikers should we get to the Prem.

Consistently our poorest player this season. Very confused by some of the responses on here. found wanting. sorry did we lose by 4? All of which came from crosses from the right? I assume the reason we kept a clean sheet was all due to delaet, wes, was and kasper then.
Mitch14 Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 I think someone will still have paid him silly money next season just for who he's played for. QPR, Forest to name two. Think the fact he's been settled in Leicester and with a young family has its influences too. Solid defender, does what he does well, not gonna say he's a great passer/the next Leighton Baines but very solid defender Konchesky is a blue
Danno Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 Love the guy, proper defender and has a great engine for a player in his thirties. You know your argument is pretty shite when all you can come up with is 'his passing is crap' .

teblin Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 As a defending left back, he is one of the best in the league. Just not the modern flying forward type lb. Like most things on here people over react when people have dodgy games. Both in which we've kept clean sheets.
Strokes Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I heard kasper is picking up the short fall in his wages, so he can compile a good video of great saves to send to AC Milan. seriously though I'm pleased about this.
MGLCFC Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 All those Konchesky knockers need to think back to the days when Sven loaned PVA - everyone, including myself, were excited about this addition. Great attacking wise, but absolutely awful at defending. We've enough attacking players in the team at the moment without our defenders needing to do that job. He's got a decent engine, overlaps well and works well with Dyer down the left. I accept he's not the best passer of a ball, but generally his positional play and defending is good.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Pleased to see this. Been a good servant of the club. Best left back since Whitlow in my opinion. Pick this one out, Carl Ikeme
Out Foxed Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Pleased to see this. Been a good servant of the club. oh dear
Crinklyfox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I've torn my hair out at times watching him, especially last season (and I don't have much to spare). Having said that I still believe that he's our best LB and understand why NP picks him every time he's fit. I don't see any down side to the new contract, if we get a new star LB he'll be good cover, if not he's still the best we have.
Corky Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Good news, will be good for the squad should we go up and obviously wants to stay by taking a pay cut. Great that Pearson can handle big names.
