QPR v Burnley next Saturday.

The ideal for us IMO would be to have QPR and Burnley sucked into a fight for 2nd whilst Forest and Derby fight for 3rd

They've pretty much kept pace with us and QPR so far despite everyone saying they'll fall off soon all season

10 points behind us ain't they? I'd say they have NOT kept up with us at all.

Burnley may or may not be a danger, but its the gap to 3rd which gets you promoted, not the gap to 2nd

Oh, thanks for clearing that up................

They're leaving it late but I've said all season that if Wigan don't go on a run putting themselves in the top 3 by the end of the season then I'm a monkeys uncle.

Must go, I've got to pop to the market to buy some bananas for my nephew....

What I was thinking. Aim for play-offs -promotion-title. We have just about got the first now need to be assured of promotion and that could mean a two horse race with 3rd-6th dropping points. Of corse nothing wrong with 2nd dropping points too and 4th-6th beating QPR would be better for us than Burnley beating QPR. A draw for QPR/Burnley a good option though.

You're all bonkers... We want QPR to win.

I, Nigel, and Vary's party bus don't care if we finish 1st or 2ns, as long as we're not 3rd.

Take points away from Burnley no matter what, if QPR win we're 11 points clear in auto, with Bounrmeouth to come! That's something worth having,

mental. why would we want our closest rival winning another game?

Because they're not our rival in the hunt for auto, the title is pointless if you havnt already got promoted. We don't have to play QPR again and it doesnt matter how well they do, as long as we perform and pick more points and widen the gap from 3rd place.

Whatever the result, it'll benefit us as one or both our main rivals will drop points after the 90 mins. Just need to make sure we keep our run going at Bournemouth
