QPR v Burnley next Saturday.

Hoping for a Burnley win, but would be quite satisfied with a draw.

Whether we achieve automatic promotion is now largely down to us, I think.

If we can maintain half-decent form, so as to end up with about 92-95 points, I can't see Burnley or anyone below them matching that. QPR might (though the loss of Austin surely makes it less likely).

A defeat for QPR today would reduce their chances of catching us and could be a big psychological blow, particularly after losing Austin. It would also be most satisfying to watch Redknapp squirm if it looked like they might not get automatic promotion.

Showing clips of Leicester, then they say 'Let's talk about Leicester first'

Anyone would think this the buildup to a Leicester game not buildup to a QPR/Burnley game.

Love how even sky are saying 1st is ours... still not letting it go to my head.

Peter Beagrie as well, they said we were faves under Sven though so I don't really pay attention to the media.

QPR can't score goals without Austin though looking at those goal stats.

In fairness, a Burnley win puts us eight points ahead of both sides with 18 games to go. It's not that big a shock we're the centre of attention in the league. Most neutral observers would conclude it's ours to nause up.

Whilst I'd love us to be Champions, and that goal is well within our grasp, I'd rather it become a two horse race. Therefore, I'm wanting a QPR win - that could increase the gap to 14 points to third this afternoon if all goes well.

I can see this league becoming a two horse race.

While I want QPR to win, I wish Doyle didn't score.

You wait for Redknapp to be all smug about it in his interview. Massive gamble, he's been wank this season.

11 points clear of 3rd played the same amount of games. Burnley are long gone.

Derby/Forest much more of a concern to me.

Someone give the Burnley keeper a cap if he can't see. The worlds gone mad, people who need them don't wear them, people who don't need them (chavs hanging round indoor shopping centres) do. And no-one in this country who owns one has ever played baseball (although a number of them do own a bat).

On another note I was kinda excited to see how the world's best right back, Trippier, was going to play today. Been made to look a complete mug by Traore at least 3 times in 16 minutes so far.

Derby I'm less concerned about. Pretty much everyone in the top six has done them and they seem to have gone backwards since we tonked them.

Forest draw too many for automatic in my opinion. They're good at spoiling and have some decent individuals, but play-off bound. I wouldn't like to play them in the play-offs considering the game at our place and the fact that their awful play-off record must change sooner or later, sod's law would make it against us.

All this being said, we need to be looking at automatic given our position right now. Play-offs would suggest we're going to muck it up, and we've shown very few signs so far.
