Deucalion Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 QPR to win to make it a two horse race? Burnley to win to help us win the Championship? Or something else?
Captain... Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I want QPR to lose, mainly because i really dislike them as a club, whoever they are playing. As for it affecting us, the title is in our hands and it will be down to us and not the teams chasing us if we don't win it.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 22 broken legs please What about the Burnley players?
Libertine Dream Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 If we take care of our own results then what these teams do won't matter in the slightest
AKCJ Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 A really shit 0-0 draw, both sides to lose their captain with red cards and Redknapp to get a 6 game stadium ban on the grounds of being an arsehole.
Deucalion Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 It is in our own hands, but it will be pretty helpful if those below can lose points too. We won't win every game.
martyn Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 If anyone has to win id rather it be qpr only because I think Burnley are more susceptible to fading away than qpr.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 A draw would be better, but If one of them has to win, I want it to be whoever's in 3rd at the time. Bonus enjoyment if QPR lose.
Finnaldo Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'd rather we win at Bournemouth to be honest. It all means nothing if we can't win there. And we've got Birmingham before that, I think we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves.
MGLCFC Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Think I'd prefer a QPR win - the gap could be quite large to third if things go well this week.
Carl the Llama Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 If anyone has to win id rather it be qpr only because I think Burnley are more susceptible to fading away than qpr. Surely you'd rather they get the result here then, since it would stall the more likely challengers?
Tuna Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 QPR win please to eliminate Burnley from the race, and then Ings gets sold to West Ham.
martyn Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Surely you'd rather they get the result here then, since it would stall the more likely challengers? No. I'd rather have a bigger gap to the side I think is slightly weaker to make our place in the top 2 more comfortable. Dont care about winning the league really.
gerrytaggart Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 0-0 draw with both managers blaming leicester for the result.
Deucalion Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 I really dislike QPR, but if one side has to win, then I think it has to be them. Three teams going for two places is not as comfortable as two teams fighting for the top two. Winning the Championship would be the icing on the cake.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Yes. Without a doubt a QPR win would be great. If it can made into a two horse race then all the better. Personally I wouldn't give a shite if we finished second. Winning the title is just the icing on the proverbial cake.
ImBlue Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 On a serious note, we all look for slip ups, as do both these teams I'm sure. Just how demoralising must it be for teams like Burnley and QPR to see us winning every week? I think if we keep applying the pressure, they will fold soon enough.
