Team for Birmingham?

We look a bit short of cover at the back... who'd have thought? If RDL or a CB gets injured in this match, we could be in trouble. Who do we have as cover?

Same team, apart from Wasyl for Moore.

Don't get people who say that players need a rest because they'll be playing 3 games in a week? No doubt they will have had a recovery day yesterday and only a very light training session today as well. Coupled with that, the Sports science nowadays means that recovery is easier than it ever was (Even a 40 year-old SuperKev said so).

Nige said Miquel should be fit for tomorrow which means we'll then have a third CB as well as it allowing Wasyl to shift over to RB if needed. As well as that, in the worst case scenario, Matty James can play CB if needed.

Would be tempted to bring Schlupp back on the bench for GTF, just gives us that extra option in defence if we do need it and means Miquel doesn't need to be rushed back if it's Konch that gets injured.

i wouldnt rest anyone, was in for moore, otherwise keep it the same, birmingham are not a team we should take lightly, regardless of where they are in the league.

Well I don't know which of you Niges to listen too. Personally I can see 1 change for this game and that's the enforced one. If we get the game under control then possibly some earlier than usual subs.

Same side if all fit.

Wasa for Moore if not.

I cant believe (well I can these days) that anyone is advocating 'giving the midfield a rest'.

No, same side please if poss. Three points is as welcome at Brum as they are anywhere else

It was mayhem on here when NP made quite a few changes against Millwall but the squad players showed that they are more than capable of stepping in and doing a good job. Just food for thought

Players have had a rest over the festive period..?

Was in for Liam ? Unless anyone carry knocks/fatigue this will be the same team????

Massive week ahead, with our rivals playing each other sat? Cannot afford too drop any points ATM.

He's been ok. But he's not been as good as Drinky or James. Wouldn't have any qualms about him coming in but I wouldn't like to see our best midfield pairing split up at the minute when we're on a run like this.

As I recall, we've had good runs when King's been a regular too and have topped the table both this season and last during those spells. .

I'm sure Pearson will weigh up the options and the need or otherwise to keep people involved, and do what he sees fit.

One thing's for sure. Our club now has a strong enough squad to field all sorts of teams and still win.

As for saying James is better than King  it might be worth waiting to see what  effect an extended run of playing the number of matches King has played for us, before sounding so sure.

And no, this isn't a commercial for King. I really couldn't give a toss whom plays because I've every faith in our entire squad and believe it is the fact of having strong players right from A-Z which has given us an edge this season. What is also means is that there's no longer any need for Kingy to run himself to a standstill playing game after game.

Depending on how the pitch is, way me be forced to pump the ball high forward rather than our usual passing game.

Kasper

De Laet

Wasilewski

Morgan

Konchesky

Knockaert

Drinkwater

James

Dyer

Nugent

Vardy

Bench: Logan, Schlupp, King, Phillips, Mahrez, Wood & Taylor-Fletcher.

Unsure with the situation with Miquel otherwise he'd been on the bench instead of Wood.

Also just remind me on our centre midfield players?
