FoxG2 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Interesting to see the different way Leicester and Birmingham fans are predicting tonight's match. On the BCFC freeforums.org. forum Virtually all the Brum fans are predicting they are going to get hammered due to the massive gulf in the quantity in our squad to there's. However our fans are very cautious, many predicting a home win or a draw or scraping a one nil win. Just goes to show how differently both sets of fans view tonight's match. I'm going for a 3-1 win for the foxes
Cincinnati Fox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Typical football fans Team top of leauge waiting for bubble to burst Team at bottom of leauge expecting a hammering off team who are in form With a few of the the type from each side that thinks there team will always win 3 or 4 nil Think the key to this one an early goal..

I'm going for a 3-1 win for the foxes I think we're just not trying to get over confident. They lost 2-0 at home to Yeovil week before last so confidence is hardly going to be high.
sylofox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Praps from our point of view it's the 2012/13 effect. Not a bad thing really. We go on other forums and laff at the attitude of others. When our own can be equally as bad at times. Much prefer the place when people are being a little more realistic and level headed. And I think we all realise as good as this run is it won't go on for ever. Long as when it finishes we don't get the we are shite brigade banging on. I think we can do it tonite another hard fought win 2-1. But as of now with our home form I'd be happy taking a point now for all our away games.
Bert Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 If we keep winning at home, I'm more than happy for a draw away from home. 4 points from every 2 games for the rest of the season sees us promoted.
NewburyFox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 In the context of the season a draw wouldn't be too bad today, but I desperately want to see us break our longest winning streak in the league, so nothing other than 3 points will do!

I don't care about the record just the gap between us and qpr/burnley. How good would the win be tonite if they at best draw. Then one or both dropping points when they play on sat. Then they will be more worried about each other than what we are doing

You're right though, it's all about the gap to 3rd.
darko2k7 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Just got this beautiful bit of info from one of their forums Tonight's referee has only done 6 Championship games so far, and he's awarded five penalties in those six games. If true the Leicester favored team / divers/ cheats/ lucky comment will be out again
Fox92 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 It's just football fans for you. I think a hell of a lot of fans remain pessimistic (me included) regardless of how both sets of teams are doing. It's only natural to say the team at the top of the division will win, but it's never like that. St Andrews is a tough place to go and I expect a tough game regardless of where Birmingham sit in the table.

yorkie1999 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 all depends on if they waterlog the pitch with the hosepipes

It would be a shame. But if we broke it then fvcked up promotion who would remember it. Only the knockers and haters that would use it as ammo against NP and the team in there sad little arguments.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 The only thing that puts some doubt in my mind is that Clark says they've been passing the ball well but not getting results recently so they might have to look at doing something different. It would suit us better for them to try and take us on in a game of football rather than a scrap as Sheffield Wednesday and Doncaster did on the road this season.
5waller5 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I'd be gutted if we didn't get the record for back to back wins ...... It's not often you get the chance to rewrite history of a 125 odd year old club. And there's no better chance of that happening tonight. Let's face it we should win this with the quality and form that we are showing right now - as a Brum fan I'd be expecting a hammering too.
Strokes Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Why do we have to keep going to other clubs forums to find out what they think of us? The league table tells the only tale i am interested in, i would still be happy with a draw in this fixture, as burnley and/or QPR will lose points at the weekend.
phillo Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 i think if we get an early goal they will feel deflated
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 It's hard to see how Brum can get much out o's this game and there best hope is anything can happen in the championship

Haydos Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Need to use the sheff weds match as a motivator for this one. Wouldn't like to see that happen again.
lancyclaret Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Birmingham are only 4 points clear of the drop zone and could be in deep trouble if they lose to Leicester tonight and then again at home to Derby on Saturday. They won't be confident of getting anything from these two games.

LMlcfc Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 We are so resilient now, we will scrape these wins away... 3 1 leicester
