foxyfudge Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leicester: Decent team, but quite dirty. MOM for Leicester: Darren Drysdale (the idiot with the yellow shirt, in case you ask)

Our manager dances with wolves.....
MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leicester: Decent team, but quite dirty. MOM for Leicester: Darren Drysdale (the idiot with the yellow shirt, in case you ask) I see we're blaming it on the ref - when in fact, you should blame your players for not having been threatening enough in our box today. You had two, maybe three really good shots on goal, but lacked the definite end product.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 I've always rated Camp and he was the best player on the pitch today. With an average championship keeper in goal for Bournemouth we'd have won by 2 or 3.

LCCFox96 Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Good win today and a decent performance to match. Important to grind out a win given burnley and QPR's situation meant one or both will drop points. We have capitalised on that, something we may not have done last year, and reinforced our buffer at the top. A great and hard fought 3 points. Bournemouth have given us two very decent games this year though. I thought we were going to blow midway throughout he second half, especially after we seemed to missed the boat on two big chances in the first half with vardy going clean through. A team for the future I think. Nice to see KP on the scoresheet for the first time too.
Rushden fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 It's always the ref, didn't you know we are a bunch of lucky cheats. Lucky cheats 10 points clear...I'll take that
Langston Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leicester: Decent team, but quite dirty. MOM for Leicester: Darren Drysdale (the idiot with the yellow shirt, in case you ask) Typical small club mentality.
Out Foxed Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Yeah proper dirty... http://espnfc.com/stats/fairplay/_/league/eng.2/english-league-championship the ref in the qpr game let off loads of yellows. we should be second.
MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 It was no pretty game - from both sides. But it did start fairly entertaining, with attempts, chances and free-flowing football left and right. As the first half progressed, we started to contain Bournemouth more and more. Only Lee Camp saved the home side from entering half-time being behind - two great reactions to two great chances by Vardy kept Bournemouth in the game. Second half started brightly again, but it became a petty affair after 60 or so minutes, with too many fouls and a lack of focus and a lack of end product. Still, we were always closer to scoring - Lee Camp being a third time lucky with a brilliant save from a header. I'm speechless how effective our team has become. Winning rather ugly and winning it late, scraping by - signs of a title contender (reminiscent of Cardiff last year). Maybe we pushed our luck a bit and maybe it should've ended in a draw - but I don't complain about extending our lead at the top to ten points now. Win against Watford next Saturday and we've equalized Reading's winning record from the 2005/2006.
MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 It's always the ref, didn't you know we are a bunch of lucky cheats. Still, I would like to know whether James (was it him?) lunged into a tackle two-footed in the second half. You know, that scene that led to a whole wave of protest from the home fans. Was the referee right?
foxyfudge Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Typical small club mentality. yes of course. instead the "big club" (ahah) mentality is to elbow other players on the face and get away with it...
MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 This is really happening Isn't it? I can pinch you if you want me to. But let me tell you this, as an answer to your question:
Leicesterpool Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Group of lads behind me kept giving poor Jamie Vardy some stick! and that was from our own fans!
MC Prussian Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 yes of course. instead the "big club" (ahah) mentality is to elbow other players on the face and get away with it... I was right there when it happened and when swinging your arms back and forth whilst chasing after the ball nowadays qualifies as "elbowing", then you're overly sensitive. No way in the world was it a deliberate elbow. Try again. Try better.
Onions Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 yes of course. instead the "big club" (ahah) mentality is to elbow other players on the face and get away with it... Thanks for the 6 points this season, now please, take the zimmer frame back to the nursing home as your carer is probably wondering where you are

Langston Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 I appreciate that that Cherries forum shown and the trolls from Bournemouth posting on here aren't anywhere near indicative of their whole fanbase (especially given our own has it's fair share of complete tools), but it's hilarious watching how resentful the pathetic few are. Eddie Howe even conceded that our goal should have stood yet we've "conned the ref" in their blind perception of the game. I still don't dislike Bournemouth as a club, Howe came across as a very honest and decent bloke post-match, it's just a shame their fans appear to be biting at our idiots and ignoring the decent ones.
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Someone help... I can't stop looking at the table. Just imagine you're a Barnsley fan. You'll soon stop looking.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Waiting for A S S to pop up and say "I have no real concerns" Another performance bearing the hallmarks of a Championship winning team. Sadly we're moving on from one set of deluded 'small club' fans to another next week. COYB
