Bournemouth post match thread 0 - 1

Didn't see any of this lovely football from AFC Brazil. Plenty of hoofing. Lee Camp has stopped them from conceding 5. 3 good saves first half and a world class save in the second half.

They didn't threaten much, only one or two long range efforts.

Great feeling. New away record too.

Bournemouth did play well and had a shot against the post, Camp did make 2 world class saves for bournemouth in the game but Before Phillips scored most Leicester fan's wouldn't have argued that a draw was a fair result. Glad we got a result here as I think could have been a game where we lost our winning run, oh and on another note Nugent was very quiet! I would say put aside goalscoring records Vardy is a more vital player to Leicester than Nugent.

Easiest fans to wind up in a while, you'd have thought they'd be honoured to host us and other bigger clubs than themselves such as Yeovil, Barnsley and Doncaster.

Vardy is only half the man without Nugent's through balls.

Both players complement each other nicely.

Is there no screening process for some of the bloody idiots on the phone in!! Mongols some of them!!

People with Down's Syndrome can't help it.

In my 20 years of supporting City we've never been that far out in front. The downside is that if at anytime the gap is even slightly closed, from say 13 points to 12, I'm going to start absolutely bricking it.

Nugent literally offered us nothing today, coudln't even win a header and resorted to giving Ian Harte an elbow to the chest because game wasn't going his way!

Kevin Phillips offered a second vital sample of why the boss has forked out for his know-how and I liked everything I heard from Pearson about being "better prepared this season", about the improvement in DeLaet defensively, about striving to maintain the high standards we've already set.

It shows confidence without complacency, belief rather than assumptiousness or arrogance and his reference to the "clown" of an agent just emphasised the authority of a manager who's completely on top of his job.

Nine successive wins is a significant achievement and one that can only suck conviction from the chasing pack. It is also something that provides a different perspective to the task of chasing points and may well be helping to ensure everyone's focus because chasing the right sort of records is fun for any footballer.

Whatever, Kevin Phillips had just the right message when he talked of players celebrating the day - then getting back down to hard work preparing for the next effort first thing Monday morning. That's just the attitude we need and, at 40, it's a credit to his undiminished enthusiasm and professionalism.

We had nearly double their efforts on goal. Nugent has been involved in the most goals in the championship this season, so i would say he's just as vital.

Waiting for A S S to pop up and say "I have no real concerns" lol Another performance bearing the hallmarks of a Championship winning team.

Sadly we're moving on from one set of deluded 'small club' fans to another next week. COYB

I have virtually zero concerns.

Except for getting pissed as **** tonight.  :trumpet:

Got home from New York and watched the QPR V Burnley game then fell asleep on the couch after not sleeping for 26 hours and woke up to the news that we won again and are now 9 in 9!! Fantastic achievement for any club, couldn't be any happier than I am right now!!

Right.

90 minutes of pretending to be a Bournemouth fan was... Different...

There was this disgusting 'thing' disguised as a woman trying to get a few if our lot kicked out, and right at the end when I and a few other fans joined in with the celebrations; the stewards couldn't give a fvck and she was still trying to get all 20 of us kicked out.

Anyway I've got a video and some photos that I'll try to get on here when I can.

In terms of the game, Sol the wall Bamba's prediction was scarily spot on. They fvcked about with the ball outside our area but had no attacking intent whatsoever.

We were strong, direct and resilient. Another smash and grab and another case for us 'doing a Cardiff'.

I was literally sat behind the goal and probably the closest to the line, it was a goal and Knocky going mad meant that we were awarded the goal.

Wasyl, for all of his doubters was heroic today and so was Wes. All of them were just spot on.

Llooooooooyd, Lloyd will tear you apart again.

Quality day, quality support. Bring on Watford.

Haha thanks mate, they were happy to pass it around on the half way line and we were happy to let them have it there! And I will stick by me opinion that they are no where near as good as people make them out to be, and no where near as good as their fans think they are. We were poor today really, but we won, which is all that matters. Were you in with that group of fans that came down to the front of their south stand and started joining in with our songs? We really were taking the piss at that point!  lol

Wasyl was just Wasyl :) He is way past his prime as a rightback, but he's a damn good centerback. And he always puts all his heart into the game.

Wes and Was were magnificant. Just a pity Vards didn't take those chances first half. Kevin Phillips,I've cursed him a few times, pleased to praise him!
