Guy Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 I think the Bournemouth's a shit hole song was a bit tongue in cheek, to be honest. I parked up by the Queen's Park golf club and there's some big expensive houses around there. I like the town. Tongue in cheek in part and it was definitely in reference to Boscombe, rather than Bournemouth central! There was a lot of drug related problems in Boscombe about ten years ago and the residuals of that era are still there in some parts of the Bournemouth add on for all to see!!
Matt Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Proud, very proud. Can't really say alot more, this is just brilliant. Fans sounded great to yesterday, was quite jealous of the fans that were there, I wanted to be there too.
Guest Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 kbg seemed a decent chap until he started trolling on here.
turkish14 Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 kbg seemed a decent chap until he started biting at our trolls.I am not sure he is a decent chap. The post I have read from KGB have all had some hidden pop at our fans, pitch or the way we play football. Looks like his latent frustrations on losing yesterday have finally come to the fore, in my opinion. Trying to hide his annoyance by trying to be funny...
weller54 Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Bournemouth have had a very good first season in the championship and I like Howe, he's an honest guy with a bright future.. Good luck Bournemouth for the rest of the season!.. And one final thought... COME ON YEOVIL!!!!!
Corky Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Enjoyed the trip, in the end, wasn't a pretty game but we deserved to win. Camp had a very good game and kept us frustrated until Super Kev grabbed a crucial goal. Stand outs for me were Morgan, won absolutely everything, Konchesky with his fabulous stamina and Knockaert who coped very well with a tough surface. We keep marching on and grinding out tough victories. We are in a superb position and just need to hold our nerve.
CosbehFox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 For me Wasilewski deserves some credit for his defensive work as much as Wes. Thought King was very good in replacing a tiring James.

(I thought I had; until somebody posted a link to this thread on our board) You just don't really get it do you turkish? Its called freindly rivalry. I have no frustrations latent or otherwise regarding AFCB losing, I've been watching us lose for 45 years. I'm pretty used to it by now. My aim on here was to bring a little humour, a little banter and maybe make some of you think about what supporting your football club is all about. It's not just about winning every bloody match. Winning's nice, but if you base your support of any club, not just Leicester, around being the biggest, best, most successfull team in the country then the lows will outweigh the highs. There's more to football than that. (In next week's exciting episode kbg argues against Rene Descartes views on substance dualism and the lack of midfielders prepared to attack the box at AFC Bournemouth.)

Yes, we've now won 9 in a row, but don't you lecture us about what it's like to not be winning every match, we're well aware of that after the past decade.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 It was a great day & night and it was good to meet a few southern based foxes of which a couple were on here (hello Guy and Unabomber I think?). Also, was anyone from here in Walkabout last night? It was great singing the Leicester songs in there.

(unless Brighton get promoted and can u really say Swansea's a seaside resort?)
Loggy88 Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 We were the better team, Kasper didn't make a save, and it was a professional away performance. We can win by playing attacking, Exciting football but we also can win games by the odd goal too. We are a very, very good side, all the players get on with each other, there's a real spirit there and we are simply the best in the division. We just need to keep doing what we're doing and were in the premier league again!
Bayfox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Agree with this, Bournemouth is a lovely place. Reckon this was the only song me and Sol didnt join in. Now, if they had sang Boscombes a shitehole...... we'd have been in like a flash. It really is horrible. Wife parked to pick us up after the game just off Christchurch Road - ie the main road in Boscombe. Right in front of her some guy was beating up his wife/girlfriend. What a dump. Having said that, the 'greasy spoon' cafe we had the bacon and egg pre-match sarnie was bloody epic! And the staff in Mello Mello were good too. How they served all those people so quickly, never a queue at the bar - Counting House, take note. Talking of Mello Mello, who exactly from here was in there? Didnt meet one of you, where was Bayfox? Or were you all avoiding me? Saw the whole of the 2nd half of QPR game in there, stood at the back of the bar almost in the kids area. Sorry mate. Did make it in. But was packed when we arrived so didnt get much past the bar. did have a butchers on ft to see if you had been on. Prob should have messaged you. Went back in after as well to meet the neutrals we took along. good day. There, here, every ****ing where leicester boys!!! Fair play to the little kid who ripped of his coat at the end to show his city kit. However I'm afraid Bournemouth sat was a shithole really disappointed. We could only get in all the usual suspects. Yates, lloyds spoons etc. None of the bars etc wanted to let 6 lads in. In spite of 2 of them not even being leicester. Ended up at aspley cross or somewhere. Some decent bars open till about 2 or 3.

(In next week's exciting episode kbg argues against Rene Descartes views on substance dualism and the lack of midfielders prepared to attack the box at AFC Bournemouth.) Is the 'more to winning' statement referring to the way in which you play football? I thought Bournemouth were a side which play 'good football'. All i saw yesterday was defensive football, as was shown at 0-0 in the second half when Knocky's header was saved....you had 8 players in your own box! You do pass the ball well, sideways.....but anyone can do that in this league. The only way to get success in this league is to win games, playing as defensive as you were yesterday is not going to make that happen. In fact i have yet to see a home side play as defensive as yourselves did yesterday.
Bourne Blue& White Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Sorry about the small picture, and I stupidly turned the camera round midway through the video (I was excited okay!). Here we go: Who are the lads waving at me? I was sat in this stand, behind the goal. When we scored the 3 rows in front of me jumped up and cheered too. The celebrations in the corner at the end were great. I must have been stood next to you when you filmed this. The Leicester boys chant was quality. A great day. 9 in a row, never thought I would see the day.
Father Ted Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 thanks for the compliment. My mission here is complete I'll be on my way then. Good luck all. Had it not been for Camp we would have tanked you, 2 good saves from Vardy, 1 from Dyer and one exceptional save from Knockaert. Yes, your mission is complete, WE'LL NEVER PLAY YOU AGAIN!
Father Ted Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 And how good was that cross from Knockaert to pick out Kev and the build up play by... Konch of all people!
Dan Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Just to mention that horrible incident i seen at the match yesterday, just after kick off a disabled supporter was going down the steps in the stand, as you can the supporter was already struggling to walk down as it is, until some yob at the end of a row was sniggering at the bloke with his mates and too make it worse one even stuck his foot out, causing the poor guy trip! luckily his helper was right in front of him and so instead of falling onto the steps he fell onto his helpers back. Following this the mob were laughing and sniggering, the helper of course as you can imagine wasn't happy about this reported them to a steward who looked as if he didn't give a fook! Again disgusting behaviour! and from our own supporters aswell! I saw the old bloke get up but not at all impressed if that's true. Shameful if so.
Craig Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 In their tinpot temporary stand behind the goal I saw one of our fans making his way out at the end after having been chased down the stairs, only to then be pushed down them. Mass cheering and applauding from the other Bournemouth fans. Disgusting behaviour.

Mass cheering and applauding from the other Bournemouth fans. Disgusting behaviour. Don't sit in the home end then... You know the risks...

Mass cheering and applauding from the other Bournemouth fans. Disgusting behaviour. One of my mates was in that stand behind the goal. Says he was getting called 'dirty northern c*nt' and plenty more things after going nuts after Phillips' goal, was then kicked out before walking straight back in 3 minutes later and joining in with the celebrations at the bottom haha
Paulmot Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Not sure that hypocritical is the word you're looking for there mate. In your opinion, inaccurate, contrary, utter bollocks maybe but not hypocritical. Of course we're punching above our weight. What exactly do you expect from a team that has been skint for 100 years? We've finally got a source of income and maybe we can put on some weight. I was forgetting that Leicester have always had loads of money and success. I really am not worthy to reply your post. Quite like Bournemouth, I think you will finish close to the top half this season and consolidate and perhaps challenge next. Howes time at the clarets will have helped him. Only listened on the radio to the chin and wag dream team. Thought overall we edged it. Shame a clearer cut goal did not win it. Thought Camp played a blinder.
cjslcfc Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 And how good was that cross from Knockaert to pick out Kev and the build up play by... Konch of all people! Ye, I found it odd that he was effectively playing CM/RM in that move. How the hell did he end up there?
Craig Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Don't sit in the home end then... You know the risks... I didn't. Just because someone sits in a stand with home fans doesn't mean that they deserve to be assaulted.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 The pitchside view of the goal on Foxes Player shows you a load of our fans jumping up and celebrating behind the goal. There really was quite alot towards the back of the stand!
