brisfox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Are any fans planning to be at Forest? With only 2100 away fans in the home end, I suspect that some City fans may choose to go under cover (including myself). If that is your plan, the West Bridgeford Upper would seem to be favourite. Thoughts?
Banks Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Chill out, nothing wrong about saying that. Other fans will be doing it and he's just wondering where other fans will be.
elangLCFC Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Could a group of fans all book one big block? Safety in numbers and all
Russell sprout Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Why sleeping with the energy as a thread again, I'm gonna buy you that film and pay for you to have the word tattooed on ur forehead as it drives me mad,can you not just word your threads ......away,home end? Nothing personal
sylofox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 So how come we don't even get 10% of capacity? Or are our club only taking what they think we will sell. If that is so they are well short atm we could take 3k anywhere atm.

If that is so they are well short atm we could take 3k anywhere atm. The home team can allocate 2,000 or 10% of their capacity to away fans, whichever is smallest. I think.
sylofox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 We'd take 10k if we could. If they gave us all 30k for this one we would sell it.

JonnyBoy Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 i probably wont get a ticket and live in notts so would be keen.

If that is so they are well short atm we could take 3k anywhere atm. It's 10% max or a minimum of 2,000 that clubs can give. Whichever is the smaller.
RedHux Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 It's been the same for everyone this year. Realistically it's only Leeds, Derby, maybe Sheff Wednesday and yourselves who made any serious use of the 4000 odd allocation so financially it's neither here nor there for Forest but I think the idea was/is to not make life easy for away fans. It was Billys idea.

cjslcfc Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 i really cannot understand it... you won't sell out so why are we only given 2,000 its ludicrous. They don't think FFP will hold up in court so they don't need the extra revenue... As a student in Nottingham with 11 credits when it's 12+ on monday I get the feeling I will struggle to get one. Annoying really as was really looking forward to it.

cjslcfc Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 same mate, ill go to the game even if i don't go in the away end. Only problem for me would be trying to restrain myself should we score and having to acknowledge Forest should they score. Ughhhh the thought of clapping Forest disgusts me

Just walk in to the club shop and give them ur adress if they ask for it or show ur student card. I know... i will go in a section where not many tickets have been sold. I wont say anymore haha

And if we score you can be one of those annoying fans that applaud away teams, speaking in a load voice how good we are 'You've got to give to them. They are very good.'

I know... i will go in a section where not many tickets have been sold. I wont say anymore haha Decent. Well it may be an option should I not get one in the away end, which is obviously the ideal situation. haha fair enough. That section where not many tickets have been sold could be anywhere in their stadium anyway - hardly a giveaway!

I'll just pretend to be a neutral student who is merely interested in this match for its entertainment value. Little will they know the entertainment value would be greater should players in blue put the ball in the back of the red team's net more than the other way round. Simple really...
CongyFox Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Thinking of doing this as I don't think I'll get tickets, would love to see a block of Leicester fans, safety in numbers and all that.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Not getting all this sleeping with the enemy and safety in numbers crap! Firstly it's not the 80's or early 90s, secondly I would suggest the covert element is the only answer, 2s & 3s keep yourselves quiet/ sensible don't act like nobs and all will be fine. Advertise it on the internet including whereabouts etc and you will attract unwanted attention from the knuckledraggers.
KFS Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 Thinking of doing this as I don't think I'll get tickets, would love to see a block of Leicester fans, safety in numbers and all that. Just thinking about it, you'd have to get someone on here to be the ring leader and buy a ticket in a particular block, then PM the next person their block. That person then tells their friends what block has been chosen (communicating offline), that way it's not published across the Internet and it won't look too suspicious buying in bulk because no matter how hard they try to not care, this will be viewed as a big game.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 2 February 2014 Posted 2 February 2014 I don't know why people who have 8+ points are being pessimistic. We surely don't have 2,000+ people with 12+ Priority Points?
