UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL. Splitting the vocal fans around the ground is BAD for atmosphere!

I disagree with this. I think it's more likely to improve the atmosphere.

If there are a good number of people around you signing, you're more likely to sing. So if you split the singers into a few groups and have them in different parts of the stadium that gives you the best chance of getting bigger numbers involved, I'd have thought.

Having said that the 'My block's better than your block' bollocks is pathetic.

Not sure on the lad in the white shirt I said well done to him after the match, but the long sleeve home top behind you was me :)

Were you the one handing out the confetti?

One criticism today has to be the De Laet song. I commend you for trying lads but I just cannot bring myself to sing Take That at the football lol

I remember there being some good ones for him in the new chants thread.

Good man! I was on the end of row MM in a navy coat.

Just hope this leads to something

L & K has had years to grow and it hasn't, the reasons are very simple.

Yes it is the loudest part of the ground, but it is still very poor all things said. That, however is through no fault of the people that go there - they do a good job in my opinion!

Most people aren't going to pay halfway line ticket prices when they can pay KOP prices and save £10 are they? Hence why it hasn't and never will grow. The idea of building on L & K is great, but there isn't a chance I like many will go up there because of the difference in prices. If the club came out and said "We recognise the vocal support would like to be closer to L & K" and say they made L K J etc all the same prices as the KOP that would be problem solved. Obviously they aren't going to do that.

And yes, I'd prefer to sit near the away fans but it certainly doesn't matter that much, for me anyway. SK1 is the only logical option to properly improve vocal support and as shown today it will spread across the KOP in time.

C'mon people make the move and build something great  :scarf:  :scarf:  :scarf:

What? Like dinner for two, a beer, a kiss and a screw! Lee doesn't put out till at least the 3rd date, no matter how much you make eyes at him!

- unless your name is David Nugent and then he will just gobble you right up -

Just got back, I throw my opinion of today into the mixer!

I thought everyone in SK1 was brilliant today. As people have said before, it was 100 like minded people who weren't there to look "cool" or "hard", just to get behind their team. We might not have made the most noise on our own, but when we got the Kop going, especially after the third goal, I thought we sounded good. Not brilliant, but better than it has been in that area for a long time. My confetti didn't work as well as I'd hoped mainly because there wasn't any wind to disperse it!

There were a great mix of songs, Molly Malone, When You're smiling and Signing the blues all got good outings a number of times. Couple of good new ones too.

The stewards were fine, any worries that we had came to nothing. They came up once when we were banging on the hoarding at the back and said "we don't mind you standing, just please don't bang on the back" Then they headed back down and we didn't see them again.

Just a quick word on L and K, you seemed a bit lost without Jobber but it doesn't help when you don't have any away fans to sing at. As people said we're all on the same side.

Soup Nazi and Staff, it was good to meet you, and Basingstoke fox it was good to see you again, hope you have a good night tonight!

Are you a spokesperson of Filbo Spirit?

Hopefully not.

No he's just a lad who has supported us from the start.

The only main voice you will hear from Union FS is from the Filbo Spirit account.

Why are you having a pop at him? Its not his fault the hundreds in L/K are quiet.

Even when he has been there lately he tries to restrain from getting involved too much and the result is silence.
