cityfanlee23 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Loved every minute today, fair play to you all that came over.Lets keep it up.My voice is totally gone, just tried to order a pint of Becks and nothing came out.. It was absolutely brilliant and to be honest without wanting a battle between blocks.. After not hearing L/K today I wouldn't be surprised if sk1 snowballs full of L/K fans.... Good to see we got the kop roaring a few times! Sit down if you love Leicester! After a few of those stand up if you love Leicester and about 500 kop fans stand with us! Brilliant
SeCrEt FoX Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 How did we sound ? Ive had a right hangover all day but still enjoyed 90mins of constant singing .Some good fun in sk1 and cheers for the confetti whoever you are, looked good.
dogadug Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I sit in J3 and thought both those in L1 and SK1 created a good atmosphere, so well done to both and lets hope the atmosphere continues to improve.
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Well done lads sounded great keep going... More will follow
Bert Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Well done the SK1 boys. Heard you a few times over in L. If anyone wants to turn this into "my block's better than yours" then save it - we need to stick together. It's great we can have two pockets of noise around the ground.

One Legged Beaver Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Great atmosphere a good fun, glad I came over!

LCFC FOX Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Class effort today lads, A shame no one joined in with my "We're the south stand, we're the south stand, we're the south stand over here" Â Best home atmosphere I've has at a home game in a long time, Considering swapping for the rest of the season from N blockÂ
EnglishOxide Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Well done to all. Â Could hear you from L1 on quite a few occasions, the L.C.F.C chant being the loudest. Â With 50/100 more people it would be much more clearer around the stadium. Â Man, if just a quarter of the people in L1 put as much effort in they'd be so much louder. Lots of standers but nobody singing.

This. ****ing loved it today, haven't enjoyed a home game like that for a while.
Leicester Lass Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 No I wasn't trying to make it like that... I was being serious.. We actually couldn't hear a word over in sk1... Wasn't taunting L I was being serious.. We couldn't hear you at all Well the 'Where were L and K?? Silent.' comment certainly came across as you trying to turn it into a competition. If you didn't mean it like that then fair enough.
K1FOX Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I'm in K and fair play to you. Looked and sounded decent at times.
nlukka Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Really good effort today, would be excellent if this develops into another permanent singing block. Keep it up.
EnglishOxide Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Well the 'Where were L and K?? Silent.' comment certainly came across as you trying to turn it into a competition. If you didn't mean it like that then fair enough. Â Â Don't be so touchy. What's wrong with a little friendly rivalry anyway? Two blocks trying to outsing each other would be a good thing.

Dan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Leicester Lass was spot on. I'm getting a bit sick of this SK1 vs L1 thing. It's quite evident that it's because of shit acoustics. Â SK1 hit a new height today. Terrific effort from all involved and I'd love it to be like that every week.

Lots of standers but nobody singing. You know where we are mate, and our arms are wide open to you... We don't want the L/K block standers who don't sing, only come over if you are willing to sing for 90 minutes and have a constant headache from screaming!
Leicester Lass Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Don't be so touchy. What's wrong with a little friendly rivalry anyway? Two blocks trying to outsing each other would be a good thing. I'm not being touchy at all, just don't think there's any need to turn it into a 'we didn't hear you so you were obviously silent' thread. I think what the guys in SK1 are trying to do is brilliant, and I hope it continues to be a success.
Finnaldo Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Were both blocks singing in unison? Please don't tell me they were singing different songs from each other...
lcfcsnow Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I heard you a fair bit today but can anyone explain the benefit of having 3 seperate singing sections? Surely it would be more beneficial to have everyone in one place, or at least two if it's the Kop and L1.
Bert Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Some football fans are so precious. It was loud in L1 at times and obviously it was loud in SK1 throughout. Why can't we just all stick together and get behind the team rather than have little bitchy comments pop up. We all support the same team for crying out loud.
