As sad as it sounds, the goal celebrations seemed rather mute without the drum. People didn't really know what to do

Yes you are right it is sad. And that is the point the drum has took away any 'real' atmosphere at the ground. It's not the big lads fault he's just a football club mascot.

Not having a pop at Jobber but the drum doesn't help are atmosphere. We rely on it way too much and when it's gone ie away games we are silent because we are not used to it. Atmosphere was dull today but it would obviously get better as fans get used to having no drum. Give it time without it and we'll be a hell of a lot more creative in our songs.

Never seen anyone talk about themselves so much!

This is supposed to be a collective effort is it not?

The post mentioned how WE (You know, The group) looked tired and people were complaining about it around me saying they had headaches.. Which was answering the post regarding Sk1 stopping on around 70 mins

I mentioned I had the same problem...

Your efforts to stir problems on here would be best served by actually joining us and making that effort.

However I doubt it will come to frame, You're the only person in 13 pages that has mentioned it.

Go away please or change subject.

Boring Bert, Boring.

To be fair a Cajon or a Agung a Tamlang would be cool as ****.

One day I hope to lead L1 in the Premiership with a HUGE monolithic Theremin.

Watch this space.

Never heard of those instruments personally, but they sound like they would be great fun, especially the tamlang.

Jobber is brilliant, keeps a good Rythmn to the songs which keeps the songs nice and loud.. Was dull in l1 today, missed jobber need him back.. We can keep atmosphere on l1 without.mbut much prefer when jobbers there

I liked the (drum-less) confusion in L1 to be honest. I though for a second (after the first goal) we had almost killed the stupid ****ing 'Poznan' there.

The percentage of hapless grinning cretins performing this debacle was significantly reduced in ASS's section I'm pleased to say.

Credit to everyone in sk1 today. Just don't ask for a drum

Does anybody know why Jobber didn't turn up? It did seem odd him not being there, But in all honesty it shows how much L/K relies on the drum (Which Lee mentioned himself in the meeting before Bolton)

So quite honestly I hope it doesn't return

Just bothered to read the post, I agree that it was observational; however the last bit was negative I think.

Shall we shake & agree on observationally-negative?

Whatever we agree on ASS is feeling PUMPED tonight!!!

Haha. It wasn't just from that one post....

Well I actually prefer the view from where I sit as well as being surrounded by my mates and in a block that is also quite vocal at times.

If you read the thread you'll see that I've been supportive of what the group are trying to do as well.

No efforts to stir trouble on my part, if anything you did so with your comment about L&K being silent.

Can't handle the truth can you Lee! lol

I'm sure you'll say I'm just picking at your posts. But if you're so adamant that L&K relies on the drum, why wouldn't you want it to return if that means a better atmosphere for the team?

Cult and Legend are obviously two words you don't know the meaning of. Oh and by the way for the 1000th time it was and always has been the drum that changed and destroyed the atmosphere at the game. Trust me end the season without the drum and we may be able to develop our own atmosphere. Alternative, is to keep the drum and be a total laughing stock every week in the prem.

A cult legend can be anybody? Bruno Berner, Yuki Abe and Sol Bamba have all been cult legend in recent years. The label cult legend doesn't have to necessarily the best, just popular and appealing (which Lee Jobber is).

'We may be able to develop our own atmosphere' guranteed you won't take it upon yourself to make a difference like he has. Don't 100% love the drum myself but atm there's no better options

From where we stood they were? Am I not allowed to say that?? Somebody mentioned they couldn't hear us at all.. nobody cried?

Well I'm not going to say that in this case because it seems you are actually asking for my opinion...

Because today as a case example... The drum goes, The atmosphere goes in that section, The atmosphere in L/K DOES rely on the drum, If we play poor, It's silent, And when the drum stops, It's silent, If we are going to be the "12th man" as fans, We need to either do it properly or not at all.. The drum has been successful in "Creating" and atmosphere, but it also ruined the atmosphere and general mentality of the fans, Almost alienated that they cannot produce a noise without it. Which IMO is bad news.

Away fans come to us and regularly outsing L/K (It's where I always sat until today) Away fans don't have a drum?

If the fans cant make some noise without it, Personally I'd say its a bit embarrassing..

Yes on it's day its good, But only when we are winning... when we go down (Which is not normal nowadays!) No matter how much that drum goes people sit with their arms folded...

This has all been expressed by jobber himself, Who said at the meeting he would prefer not to have to be the only source of noise, He would like to use the drum to keep the songs going... Not start and finish them...

Let the fans in L/K get used to not using it.
