AlphaMaleFox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Don't see the fascination of being right next to 400 Barnsley fans either. 400 Barnsley fans? Next season? Behave!
ozleicester Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Can we move L1 to next to the Kop? Good Luck with this more spreading fo the sound must be good
Dan Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 400 Barnsley fans? Next season? Behave! Alright then. 1,000 Fulham You must see where I'm coming from here a bit though?
Soup Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 400 Barnsley fans? Next season? Behave! Dan's right m8,what's the point in chanting at a small numbers of away fans, but when we really need them,ie Leeds,Weds etc they go missing. And considering next season there could be(dare I say that) regular sold out away allocations, well what fun that could be.
tomtom Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 The whole end? Do you really think so? This is a Kop that doesn't even stand when we have a corner at that end. I don't see it ever being 100% standing. Maybe the bottom half one day (a long way away) but never the whole end. Did someone in the kop run off with your Mrs or something? All your posts are just slating the kop as a whole ..... there are plenty of people in there that get behind the team it's just that they're scattered about so you can't really hear them... All trying to locate together like this is a good idea and should be applauded!

He does stand in the Kop and joins in with the singing and his goal celebrations are legedry however the contents of his posts are due to a medical condition he has. He is a chronic pessimistic miserable fukker!!
cityfanlee23 Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 I hope this takes off and I can spread the word if needed but i've seen it tried before I was in SK1 for the Watford game, hoping you would already b there! (It was safe to say you weren't ) I was at the top of SK1 and near the top there was pretty much no one there. But there were still quite a few empty seats to the left of me in SK2, whilst just along from that there were a small amount of Kop standers that were trying to sing. I do think it's important not to get stuck in the corner and completely isolated. The Fosse Boys tried that and it didn't work. You have the right basic area of the stadium, but I'd suggest getting as close to the singers in the Kop as possible. There are a small amount there who try and sing and in certain games it infects (in a good way) a bit further down. The idea should be to make that group that already exists bigger. So specifically, I envision this section to begin on the right (left as you look at it) hand side of the Kop, rather than the corner (though if it's big enough, it would spread to there of course) I was actually trying to get tickets there for Watford but got myself muddled up and ended up right in the corner Anyway, that's just my opinion. Give it another chance mate! Personally I think this will just split the singers between the Kop and L/K, leaving both areas less noisy. Having 2 singing areas in opposite sides of the ground won't work because they never manage to sing in time with each other. I think this could work! A link between the Kop and the East Stand seems logical. With the Family Stand getting in on the atmosphere now. 3/4 stands going for it should give it some real bounce! See you there Quality idea. Us in L, K and J3 have never been able to get going with the Kop, but last few games we've actually sang the same song at the same time a few times. Some good progress at the minute. Sounds good! http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/69955-why-doesnt-the-kop-stand-up/ Read Join us mate?? What I will say, is the key to success is not people saying "I'll wait and see and if it works I'll join you" The key to success is people saying "This will work and I am going to help it and be a part of it, I'll take the plunge" This Idea will grow, potentially 100+ already and it's only just been advertised, Plus the ones already up there! Be a shepherd not a sheep.
cityfanlee23 Posted 15 February 2014 Posted 15 February 2014 Looking forward to this. Reckon everyone who turns up will be fully into it and up for singing for the full 90. The kind of folks willing to take a chance and be part of something rather than waiting to "see if it takes off". THIS. Quite simply, THIS.

It's crap - but it has potential to be good one day. steveherbe Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Looks like a foxestalk day out. Should we all wear badges or summat? Does filbospirit have any idea on numbers? We're gonna need 200+ to generate some noise

CPW22 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Just sorted my tickets for this, row MM seats 17 & 18. Really keen to see this go well
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 I am an SK1 season ticket holder, buzzing!!!
Kitchandro Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Just looking at buying tickets for this and there is still loads of empty seats left. Once again I urge you to start from SK2 and work towards SK1. I do not understand the plan of doing the same as the Fosse Boys. People who are unsure whether to make the move will be put off straight away by the segregated nature of the group. If you're going to do it in SK1 at least do it on the side closest to SK2.

I think the fosse boys failed more due to their lack of organisation, appreciation for other fans and communication to the club, it was soon stamped down on and petered out.. This seems very different so far
Kitchandro Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 It's not in Fosse Boy corner mate, much further into the Kop Not by the look of that diagram. The yellow seats are very in the corner. There are still masses of empty seats on the right hand side of the picture.

There are still masses of empty seats on the right hand side of the picture. Yep those will be the ones in front of us. Theres about 15 or 20 of us on the edge isle seats top 3 or 4 rows then feck all in front and to the side of us and its been getting worse year on year.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Is this going to be a one game thing or are people planning to use sk1 on a weekly basis?Booking my flight back to England at some point this week for the final few games of the season, so i'd love to be a part of it, if it's still going when i get there!
