Silverdaz Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Nugent has stuttered a bit a still remians on 17 goals for the season where as Vardy keeps popping up (its 12 for the season now I think). I think Nugent will get a couple against his favoruite team Ipswich on Saturday but the way Vardy is going wouldnt surprise me if Vardy gets to the 20 mark first.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I'd be suprised if anyone beats Nugent to 20. We've got enough games for Nugent to score 20+ and Vardy 15(+). Shame Nugent missed that chance yesterday when Forest seemed to just back off us and Drinkwater virtually walked the ball into the penalty area.
Bryn Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 If Nugent doesn't hit 20 that's criminal. Vardy will hit 15.
LCCFox96 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I reckon once Nuge hits that 50th goal for us which he has eluded him in the last few games he will get a couple in a row to put him on 20. It's Sod's law. Besides I'd back Nuge to hit 20 with the number of games we have left to go. Even if he gets dropped twice last year he came off the bench and hit braces so he should easy get 20. As for Vardy don't think he'll make 20 but would be great if he did. 15 goals combined with his overall level of performance this year is a fantastic return from him though. I'd like to see knockaert and wood (harder for him with injuries/bench etc but he's got 5 in all comps) pick up to 10 goals this year as well as Phillips getting a few more.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I can see both vardy and Nugent getting 20 each
Bayfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I was about to ask will Vardy get 20 this season. I reckon, with yeovil, donny, charlton, barnsley still to play they are the sort of games where he could get a brace in a few of them.
Stadt Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Wood will not get more than 5 league goals, he barely ever plays.
Deucalion Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Nugent seems to have spurts of goal-scoring form rather than an ever-present threat. Once he gets one, he will score a several to take him to 20.

Guest MattP Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 If Nugent doesn't hit 20 this year as our spot kick taker he never will, I'm sure he will get over the line though, Ipswich this weekend for a start. Would be great to see Vardy get close but 15 would be a great effort from him.
rico Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 always scores against Ipswich,so should be on the score-sheet Saturday
Lionator Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I can see Mahrez bagging 5-10 before the end of the season too.
MC Prussian Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 At first, I thought this was about either us or Forest hitting the 20-game unbeaten mark. As for the question, it will be Nugent. But just.
