Wrighty22 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 When will the club make a site that is iPad friendly? Anyone else have issues with using the website on there and buying tickets? It simply just doesn't load up the screen to select seats. Very frustrating.

Yeah it's really crap there's been so many games I've not gone to this season because of this, you would think a football club would make it more of so priority to allow fans to buy tickets

Fox92 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 They don't even have to make another site, just make it responsive. I study web design, and we're constantly told not to only concentrate on a design for a standard desktop size anymore because of the tablet and smart phone size screens.
Leicester Lass Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 There's a new retail & ticketing website launching next Friday. Launch date pushed back to early next week to iron out some glitches.
David Lowe Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 There are more glitches off the pitch than on it these days.
Unabomber Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Launch date pushed back to early next week to iron out some glitches. Shock
jammie82uk Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Launch date pushed back to early next week to iron out some glitches. Will there be any club announcement or will it just appear at some point
The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 There are more glitches off the pitch than on it these days. Let's keep it that way.

Isn't it because the ipad doesn't run flash and you need that for the seat selections part of the site? You can buy away tickets and your own season ticket seat with an Apple product but you can't choose a seat from the stadium lay out and I thought it was because of flash. I could be wrong though.

Correct.
Mark_from_USA Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 There are more glitches off the pitch than on it these days. You hired the Obamacare contractors? If you're not in the US, you may not get it!
broughtonblue Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 You hired the Obamacare contractors? If you are outside the US you might not get it!Possibly just me but your correct, I don't get it!
Mark_from_USA Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Possibly just me but your correct, I don't get it! Ha. The U.S. government spent something like 500 million to build a new health care website, and it crashed on launch and was months getting fixed.

Yeah you're right. There is a browser for iPad that supports flash though, isn't there? Not safari. Oh I dunno.

Yup it is that ipads and androids cant get their tablets to accept or even be recognised for flash downloads. There were work arounds, but they are now failing.Since Jan.2014 I dont even try to search for new possibilties Until an anouncement is made. I go on this site and a brit-expats site with my tab, it can be frustrating with smileys, photos, online copying, and simple scrolling, when editing, when these features are not supported from relevant site. Sought of waiting for msg in a bottle.
VLC86 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 When will the club make a site that is iPad friendly? Probably when they no longer exist
Vlad the Fox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 I thought flash was being fazed out for htlm5?
jammie82uk Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 so the new website launched today and got the much needed update it required seems to be a few teething problems still as unable to buy tickets as it asks you to sign in after selecting tickets even tho you are already signed in also partial good news for apple iphone/ipad users you can now buy tickets using the quick seats option you cant pick the actual seats you want but you can pick the block you want to sit in
