Any Slay the Spire Fans? Just got the second one and is as good as the first so far.

Enjoying it despite not having played the first one or really any deckbuilders, so a steep learning curve for sure. Silent is the only one that's really clicked for me so far but I did just about scrape a win last night with Ironclad for my first non-Silent success so trying to branch out now.

I haven't completed a run yet. Got to the final boss a couple of times but feel like I need to unlock better cards.

A shiv build with Silent was always great on the first one.

Ah I've not done much shivving yet, might have a dabble next time I play. I think all my good runs on Silent I've ended up with basically the exact same deck, loads of poison and then using draw/discard/sly to pile on the block. No idea how viable that will be at the higher ascensions but for now it seems to be doing the job.

Poison run is good for sure. Especially when you can stack it.

Just played through Neva today. Beautiful game. Recommend if you liked Gris, it’s by the same team. Basically the same game with a different theme.

Did the platinum on this the other week.  Now and again you get a decent indie on PS+ and this one was decent.  Some of the flowers were awkward to find but it's worth it in the end.

Venba is also a quick platinum that's worth a go.

Anyone picked up Crimson Desert?

I'll get round to it at some point but just picked up AC Shadows for 30 quid so should keep me busy for a while.

Yeah but only 5 minutes in so hard to present much of an opinion!

Ok.  Come back after 100 hours when you've finished the tutorial lol

I'm trying to finish Astrobot before starting AC Shadows proper.  Last Galaxy now but those lost X levels are giving me a difficult time.  The one with the birds flying at you right at the end of the level were a nightmare.  Did it eventually after about an hour, fluked it.

I'm playing God of War Sons of Sparta. Really enjoying it. I do love a metroidvania type game. Lots of abilities to unlock and lore to find. Playing on the easiest setting and it's only now I'm near the end that I'm starting to find it easy. The beginning of the game still had it's difficult moments.

Astrobot.  Currently sweeping up the remaining trophies for platinum having completed the story and saved all 305 original bots.  Enjoyed the Horizon based level at the end - obviously  lol

The grand master level wasn't troublesome for me though - the trickiest was that lost X world by far, took me ages.

Enjoyable game, some of the level design was genius.

Managed to finish Resident Evil Requiem last night - first story playthrough was 13 hours

I really liked the two different playstyles between Grace and Leon, not sure I could play the whole game through as Grace (not a massive fan of stealth games / missions but don’t mind them in Resident Evil)

Missed the trophy for reading every file because I missed just 1 ffs and honestly not sure how I will be able to get my playthrough down to 4 hours for the trophy, will have to have a look at some guides

That Crimson Desert game looks mental, pondering getting it but it looks like it might be too overwhelming to enjoy as a 35 year old man

I have seen people saying you have to play it for about 8 hours before you properly get into it

Not sure I can give up that long to potentially still not like a game

As a 37 year old man I've been enjoying it.  It really holds your hand and says "go there and do this".  Enjoying the puzzles.

That said, the camera controls are absolute dog s**t and is defo a case of waiting for a few patches if you're on the fence about it.  I had a quest item I needed to collect that was in a pile of other selectable items, took about 5 minutes of micro adjustments before it focused on the thing I wanted.  It's Super Mario Sunshine levels of bad.

If there's one thing I absolutely cannot abide in an third person action adventure game it's terrible controls.

If it doesn't feel smooth to play why would you. The gameplay should be the main point, especially when your game has no story because you designed it as an MMO and just yanked out all the MMO functionality at the death lol

It'll be a big no for me unless they do significant work on it.

I read earlier today that they've patched it and the controls are now less of an issue.  I'd like to try it but will probably wait until more patches are in place before buying it when it's around 30 quid.

You can go first person which is even more horrendous.

Been really enjoying the KCD next gen update

Assuming it's the sequel?

I still haven't completed it yet. Played it a lot at release date, left it to come back but still haven't, like so many other games. It is excellent though, really enjoyed it.
