90% certain to win title, say bookies......

Burnley now drifted to 10-1 from 7-1 after dropping points last night.

I work that out as Foxes would win the title from this position 9 times out of 10.

The bookies don't get a lot wrong.

I reckon Leicester only need 3 or 4 wins from last 12 games to clinch title.

If we avoid defeat at burnley then it will be very difficult for Burnley to catch us. Not even thinking about title until promotion is secure though. My heart says promotion is done and dusted but my head still says theres long way to go and anything can happen

Personally I think we will win promotion if we beat you looking at our remaining fixtures. Then it will be between us for the title, really hope you come up with us though  :)

I don't read too much into bookies odds to be honest. I think Pearson was odds on to be the first Championship manager to get the sack at the start of the season.

At the moment, I think Wigan are our biggest danger - you are too far ahead for them to catch you. If there were 20 matches left instead of 12/13, I'd be backing Wigan to win the title now.

I reckon the Latics will take 6 points from the 2 games against us and you.

If they can win at Man City, they must think they can beat anyone - home or away. They made short work of Forest the other week.

I know Alan Young got slated on The Longside for saying we'd go the rest of the season unbeaten, and that's fair enough, but I think the general consensus on here is 'One Game At A Time/I Can't Believe This Is Happening To Us!'

I'm definitely a 'One Game At A Time/I Can't Believe This Is Happening To Us' type of person although I do let my mind wander a little further sometimes before dragging myself back. This is Leicester City after all!

I think it's fair to say we just want promotion first, then we'll think about the title. I know as each game passes, we become more confident and the title hopes get louder on here, but we'll just have to see. We've had some very rough years as Leicester City fans. Promotion first please.

There riding high at the moment and in good form but i cant see them beating both of us. Dont forget there not the only team on unbeaten runs

Everyone is making short work of Forest at the moment. I think we'll do OK against Wigan, although it will be a tough one: maybe a draw?

Another thread about a top 6 team or a promotion favourite which could have gone in to the top 6 thread or the Championship thread...

If and when we get the points to achieve our ends then I'll rest convinced.

That's not pessimism either - we have absolutely nothing to feel pessimistic about. Our team is top because it's been consistently good and, more important, consistently effective. There's no reason their ability either individually or collectively should evaporate overnight.

But, the job still has to be finished and nothing the bookies, over-confident fans or journalists say will change that fact. All that matters now is the next game and doing all we can to cement our position even more securely.

Promotions done. The team's playing to well to chuck away the astronomical amount of points away that we would need to in order not to go up, Alan Young's unlikely claim that we wont lose again this season is more than a likely hood than us ballsing this up. Derby and QPR just aren't playing well enough or picking up enough points to take advantage even if we do properly go off the boil anyway and Wigan are too far behind. Start the bus.

Title is a different matter mind but even that's starting to look like it's not far from being in the bag.

I wouldn't mind if the season finished on Saturday.

I can't blame you, although your hardly in a bad position yourselves and are in much better form than those chasing you down. I can't see past Leicester Burnely top two tbh.

Thats not really how odds work. If they thought we were 90% likely, they wouldnt have odds set at 10/1 because over time theyd break even..... but I get your point.

At this rate, I wouldnt be surprised if our current total gets us close to promotion!

We are the champions......my friends.

You lot are the only team that can catch us, and I personally want a big gap (like the one we have at the minute) going into the game at Turf Moor.

There is no reason why we should not be champions, never mind just go up, this season. We're playing so well, the best I've ever seen us play, and we have been consistent throughout the season. I go into games with confidence nowadays, with the belief that we can turn up and dominate games/teams.

Good times.

if they played like they did last night after listening to the SSN commentry then i think they will struggle against us and you guys.

Any more info on ings leaving on crutches as well?

I must admit the burnley player that was qouted as saying he thought they could catch leicester , it always bites you on the bum , they went and drew against brum !

Not sure anyone will catch us now with only burnley with a chance , we would have to loose 3 matches more than them and draw another .

The more games that pass with our current form , makes harder game by game

Up the city

I want it to last forever - this is about the best season we've ever had - I've forgotten what that losing gut-wrenching feeling feels like

Burnley coming up with us is the best bet now seeing as the 3 teams below them are all shit twats.

And it's another joke to laugh at Watford with - isn't Dyche the man they ruthlessly chopped to herald in this amazing new era?
