ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Will we do the unlikely and get promoted at Burnley? That'd be a perfect day, beat them on their own turf, gain promotion and get back to Leicester and drink the night away
Guest kristianity77 Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 I think the Burnley game is too soon. Requires too many sides to drop too many points. Personally I think it will be the Brighton game, 2 games later.

I've been thinking this all along. Always said it will be the QPR game, but it might be earlier now. Don't think it will be as early as March, though.

Leicesterpool Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Gaining promotion at Burnley would be great, the sad thing is alot of Leicester fans will miss out, it's on the tele yeah but it's not the same thing in being there. The best place the gain promotion is at home! against Sheffield Wednesday on that friday night fixture!
Richard Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 I'm in the Burnley end for that game... No chance would I be able to contain myself
Mark_w Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Really desperately want it to be secured against Wednesday. Wouldn't surprise me if it was April 5th when we don't play.
veezeeblue Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Doubt very much it will be QPR game, Derby and QPR would have to get max points from next 6 games and us losing 2 (possible considering games v Burnley and Wigan), but highly unlikely based on current form, and that include away wins QPR against Wigan and Derby at Forest. So much more likely to be Sheff Wed or Brighton .. or even Wigan games at this rate ... still going to be so sweet whenever it may be
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 18 March 2014 Author Posted 18 March 2014 Remember when we gained promotion away in league 1? That was a great day! I'd prefer it to be away from home, not because I'm a cvnt, but because it'd be more enjoyable personally.. And what better place than Burnley
Bayfox Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Whats the actual maths? If we beat blackburn, yeovil and burnley. Could that send us up?
ScouseFox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Think it's looking more likely every day that it will be confirmed when we don't play, either the afternoon after Burnley or day after Wednesday because everyone else seems to love dropping points of late.

Nightmare if that happens. No climactic moment to share with everyone else, just blank recognition that the job had been finished. Horrible. I'll be rooting for our opponents if it comes down to it.

Rincewind Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 I want it to be a home game. Not been able to get down this season. Would like to see the confirmation game. Fair weather fan I know but never wanted to put the kybosh on things. Looking forward to a celebration drink with others anyway. Parcel Yard anyone? Are there any fans fixtures coming up?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Just want it at home with a pitch invasion
Littletoe Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Looking at the fixture list, I think it will be Sheffield Wednesday at home! Friday night
Guest MattP Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 With the amount of games we have had moved its probably about 50-50 if we do it ourselves or not. Would much prefer to do it at home in front of a decent crowd.
Jfox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Whats the actual maths? If we beat blackburn, yeovil and burnley. Could that send us up? If we beat Blackburn and Yeovil, Derby take a max of 1 point from their next 2, QPR and Wigan both lose on Saturday then draw with each other on Tuesday, we will be promoted with a win at Burnley, Its a long shot.
Callabinho Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It would be fitting if it was to be Brighton. Anyone remember why?
MattGamble92 Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It would be fitting if it was to be Brighton. Anyone remember why? You got bummed there?
Grewks Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It would be fitting if it was to be Brighton. Anyone remember why? They beat us? I honestly have no idea why.
Guest MattP Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It would be fitting if it was to be Brighton. Anyone remember why? Last promotion.
Hollism Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 It would be fitting if it was to be Brighton. Anyone remember why? They were the last team to beat us before our unbeaten run?
placidcasual Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 Last promotion. A Pedant writes. Last promotion to the Premier League. Last promotion was getting out of League One ( or whatever it is these days) Just looked up that game. Stewart and Izzet scored.
