elangLCFC Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 He could get booked before Wigan, so for those two games I assume we'll bring in Wood. We also know that NP doesn't like to change a winning team, so if we win those two games would Vardy get his place straight back, or would he have to wait until a mistake was made by Wood (or whoever else we bring in)?
MGLCFC Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 He only needs to get past the Wigan game, then further yellows don't count.

weller54 Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Depends on whether we're up or not by this stage I suppose.. Personally I don't think the nugent /wood partnership is great, no pace there!!.. But if Vardy 's out then it's the only option we have!
MGLCFC Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 If Vardy was suspended, I'd bring Dyer back on the wing, play Knockaert just behind Nuge and let Nuge do the chasing down (which Knockaert can also do effectively)
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 I would start Nugent and Fletcher, people knock him constantly but he has slimmed down now incredbily and is showing good signs, the run where he got through 2 players and nearly scored the other week was good, but he is not getting long enough on the pitch. Then i would bring Wood and Phillips on in the 70th minute.
????? Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Got a feeling he will be rested on Tuesday too ensure he is available for the but let game
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 He won't be rested just to avoid getting a yellow
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 He won't be rested just to avoid getting a yellow I wouldn't be too surprised if he was rested. Nige might want him fresh for the run in. Even with Nuge/Phillips/Wood, Yeovil are well beatable.
Buce Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Got a feeling he will be rested on Tuesday too ensure he is available for the but let game Typo of the century. Predictive text, by any chance?
kingfox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 I would rest Vardy for Yeovil. Wood, Phillips or GTF can do a job against their back four.
Nalis Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 Agree with most of you, I think we can afford to rest Vardy and have him on the bench v Yeovil in case he is needed. Wood is the obvious replacement but could Nugent/Schlup work with Moore slotted into a rejigged defence? Too much change perhaps?
CPW22 Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 I would rest Vardy but I don't think NP will. I think he will look to make sure we get the points against Yeovil first even with Burnley and Wigan to follow. After all, if it goes our way on Tuesday he can bring him off after 60 and give Wood/GTF/KP a good run out.
Bettsj2 Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 There is a massive possibility we'll lose to Yeovil. Even contemplating not playing Vardy is madness.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 I wouldn't rest Vardy personally. The form he is in he could get more goals against Yeovil
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 There is a massive possibility we'll lose to Yeovil. Even contemplating not playing Vardy is madness. Why should we lose to Yeovil? We could do but 'massive possibility'? Why?

Foxy harry Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 I like chris wood I know he hasn't been at it for a while but I think we should give him some more games and the same with waghorn he's shown he can get goals at this level with Wigan we should give him another loan next season and see how he does then but it is hard for any striker to get in our team at the minuite
Happy Fox Posted 23 March 2014 Posted 23 March 2014 How about recall waghorn for the Wigan game? He will be ineligible to play against us, and why would we recall him? when we have a lot of decent options.
