Kitchandro Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Are you for real? Wow. We're pissing the league. We could be promoted within 2 matches. It surprises me we're not taking more.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 We're pissing the league. We could be promoted within 2 matches. It surprises me we're not taking more. But as others have said Kitch 2200 plus isn't bad when you consider all the various factors. I think Bert said quite rightly If this game had been played on a Saturday at 3.00pm we would be taking the full allocation etc etc
Miltonfox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 K sara sara what ever will be will be, we're gong to the Premier League... K sara sara. Enough said. 2,200....or 5,000 ... or just 2 men and a dog! Those who can go will go, those who can't will still be singing at home, in the pub, at work. We all support LCFC in our own way, how we can when we can. I am fortunate that I am able to go tonight, but couldn't get to blackburn or burnley. Swing in roundabouts. As long as we get the points!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 A question . Do they use this stadium for rugby leauge ?
CosbehFox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 A question . Do they use this stadium for rugby leauge ? Yes
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Yes Thanks, just wondering what sort of effect it has on the playing surface
kingcarr21 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 tough game. I hope after saturdays win the players dont take there foot off the gas accepting that realistically we cant drop out the top 2. Im sure Pearson will keep telling them the job is far from over and to go for another 3 points. Wigan have dropped points as of late so a leicester win is very much achievable. Fancy us going back to the 2-1 results and also a penalty is long overdue so a nugent penalty first goal and wood with the winning goal.
davieG Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 City boss Nigel Pearson may make changes to his side as a hectic fixture schedule continues with a tough trip to Wigan Athletic in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night. Last weekend’s victory over Burnley saw the Foxes move to within seven points of securing a long-awaited return to the Premier League, and with players chomping at the bit to be involved, the manager revealed that some may get their chance at the DW Stadium. For the last five games the Foxes have been unchanged, but with striker Jamie Vardy a doubt with a groin injury, there could be opportunities for others, and as always, Pearson is backing his players to perform if called upon. “Because we play Sheffield Wednesday on Friday evening it does take away a recovery day,†Pearson told Foxes Player. “And because we’ve had an unchanged side, it goes without saying that there are players that have played an awful lot of football and players who have played not very much at all. It’s always about striking the balance. “I’ve got faith in every player in the squad, and I don’t feel that any changes that we make will necessarily weaken us. The players are playing with confidence and whichever side takes to the field I expect to maintain the standards that we’ve been setting. “I said before Saturday’s game that I would be utilising the squad over this period where we’ve got four games, and that will probably be the case against Wigan. “We’ll see how the players are, have a look at how the players who played on Saturday are looking, and we’ll pick a side that we think is capable of winning that game.†Coming away with three points will be no easy feat however, with City facing a Wigan Athletic side in a rich vein of form and fighting tooth and nail to seal a play-off place. The Foxes won the reverse fixture 2-0 at King Power Stadium last year, but under the guidance of new boss Uwe Rosler, the Latics have become many people’s tip for a return to the top-flight. Pearson added: “They’re a good team. I think their run of results has been very positive for them, but we’re in a very good run ourselves. “They play different systems and I don’t know if they’ll set up to try to limit our opportunities or just play their own way. That remains to be seen, but what I do know is they are a side that plays with confidence and they’ve got some good players, so it should be a very competitive game. “For us of course, we’ve continued to do what we talked about a few weeks ago, and that is to tick the games off and get good results. So the longer that goes on, it makes it more difficult for our opponents [to catch us].†Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/010414-pearson-to-use-squad-1459650.aspx?#Au7kcFsTVURAtcrO.99

MrSpaM Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Wigan fans seem pretty confident they are going to beat us!
itsblueupnorth Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I live in the north west, the away day run is pretty sweet right now agreed - home game for us as we live on the Fylde Coast - still got Bolton and Huddersfield to come
kingfox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Wasilewski - Schlupp Knockaert - King - Drinkwater - Mahrez Wood - Nugent
TrentFox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Think the backroom staff have a big role to play today in getting everyone in right place mentally. There was an air of 'we've done it' after Saturday's victory. We haven't not quite. Focus required for a tricky fixture. Couple of fresh faces might be a good shout. We know NP likes a settled side, but I think freshening it up with one or two who are desperate to get back in the side might just encourage everyone to continue to perform at their best. Think Wood will start. Possibly with 2 changes in midfield - one central, one wide. That's three more changes than we normally see, although one is forced.
Guest Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Wigan fans seem pretty confident they are going to beat us! So were Burnley fans. Do you think Burnley want us to win this to hold Wigan at bay, lose in the hopes of catching us or a draw?
Unabomber Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 So were Burnley fans. Do you think Burnley want us to win this to hold Wigan at bay, lose in the hopes of catching us or a draw? I'd think most would want us to win.
Corky Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 So were Burnley fans. Do you think Burnley want us to win this to hold Wigan at bay, lose in the hopes of catching us or a draw? Wigan are still 16 points behind Burnley, they are too far behind with 8 games to play.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Wasilewski - Schlupp Knockaert - King - Drinkwater - Mahrez Wood - Nugent Not bad guess Kingfox and although I actually think there will be more changes than that I don't think there should beIn Pearson we have to trust
Agent Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 TBF, we should be taking more - after all, this is The Farewell Tour!!!! I've been saying that since Coventry away, first game of the season under Sven!!
