Zaid Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Better team and classier manager. Bore off gravel throat "Gravel throat"
wight88 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Were nige and Dyche the respective captains when boro played Chesterfield twice in the fa cup semi around 97? Always thought Dyche would be brilliant at voicing a villainous monster in a children's cartoon, maybe a new nemesis of Mr Krabs or summat.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Author Posted 30 March 2014 I've got no issue with the club or the fans Actually I'd say that their fans are some of the best in this league, our friend lancyclaret is a good example of this and we seem to have a rapport with eachother Will be very happy for them to join us in the prem next season
Stevie Synex Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I think people are getting a bit too wound up about this. It was a low blow but he's defending his team and ultimately, who gives a shit? We're top and they're not! Just goes to show what a brilliant manager Nige is - never resorts to comments like that even when we lose. Lose? When did we last do that?

Stevie Synex Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 The gulf between first & second must have been a bit of a shock to him. Hope Burnley can hold on & keep QPR out. Not sure why so many of our fans get upset when other managers mention spending We've rolled £7m+ loss onto £12m+ loss onto £15m+ loss onto £20m+ loss onto £30m+ loss over consecutive seasons and not only haven't we had to sell off the likes of Schmeichel, Morgan & Nugent but we've actually strengthened and added to the wage bill. No wonder everyone mentions it all the time, sure it's not the recklessness of QPR, but christ... We're not playing by the same rules as most in the division - It's just finally we have a manager who can capitalise on it. Our blindness to this is baffling. Anyway, it was Dyche's choice not to have another forward, even from their development squad on the bench forcing him to go 451 & it was his 3 man midfield which lost out to our 2 man midfield (remember Drinkwater losing out in Championship player of the season ). It was his team who were given a real lesson & now the pressure is on them to hold on Statistical proof if ever it was needed that money doesn't guarantee you anything.
phillo Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 i think burnley may struggle in the run in could even get caught in my opinion
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Author Posted 30 March 2014 i think burnley may struggle in the run in could even get caught in my opinion I really hope not and certainly hope QPR don't do it
foxoffderby Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Got a lot of respect for Burnley this season, however Dyche sounded bitter and I didn't like the way he spoke about Leicester in terms of money. He was implying we had bought the league which is untrue. He was trying to be funny came off looking like a twat.
MattGamble92 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Nigel acts with class and integrity in every interview. It beggars belief that he comes in for criticism for supposedly lacking passion in interviews or whatever. This man is a superb manager in every aspect and its only when i see bitter and sour managers like Dyche and Billy Davies that i realise just how classy our Nige is.On the subject of Dyche, i havent liked him at all this season. Taking pressure off your players is one thing, but constantly playing the little club surrounded by big spenders card in order to do nothing but boost your own reputation is extremely undignified to say the least. And i'd be very nervous if i were a Burnley fan, hearing him say yesterday was "fine margins" is a huge misjudgment of a poor display for his side.

Daz93 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Lost everyone ounce of respect for the man. Jealousy and bitterness. How must his other players feel, saying that losing his key players was a reason for losing. We lost Vardy, brought Chris Wood on as a perfectly able replacement. It's Burnley's own fault they didn't have the strength on the bench to bring on.
themotivator Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 There is something to be said for the fact we will have relatively healthy financial support going forward with promotion. Incoming players will find this attractive and means we will be able to attract the kind of players other championship sides cant. Even if we are only spending a few million extra here and there. The potential size of our bank balance will inevitably frustrate a manager like Dyche.PS listening to his gravely voice is worth watching his post match interview for.
lgfualol Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Hehehe isn't it great to be top and outclass teams in the top 6, leaving them only with excuses. Sean Dyche can suck go on a tampon.

MooseBreath Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 He seems very insecure and I seriously doubt that he has the mental strength to cope with the premiership. Can see him capitulating next season and possibly having a full on mental breakdown, hopefully in front of the cameras. He'll be sacked by november and back tothe championship where without being blessed with the two best goalscorers in the league he'll fail and begin a slow descent into the lower leagues.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 We have spent big but not under Pearson, we have sold off all the players we spent millions on and got in some reasonably priced players. Pearson has done done great business without breaking the bank. Yes our resources are bigger and we are able to offer more in wages than most but I'm sure if those who complained had the resources they would be doing the same.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Hehehe isn't it great to be top and outclass teams in the top 6, leaving them only with excuses. Sean Dyche can suck go on a tampon. That last comment is a bloody disgrace
Guest Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I really don't care whether Burnley get promoted. I don't want QPR to be promoted but couldn't care less about "the other" team. Only good reason for a Burnley promotion is 6 easy points in the prem next year.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Dyche is on a hiding to nothing next season. Burnley aren't going to spend the money that is needed to bring more quality and depth and he's got an uphill struggle to keep them in the Premiership (if they get there). No doubt if he fails they will sack him and be back at square 1
Littletoe Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I didn't find his interview that bad tbh.. Haven't lost any respect for the man either.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill, to be honest. He mainly praised us, and his one adverse remark could have been worse.
Corky Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 If he's bothered by how much we've spent I hope he can cope with the amount that Norwich, Stoke, Southampton have spent next season.
Bert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Haven't liked him for a whole now. Knows he's doing a decent job and it seems like he's getting very arrogant over it all. Everyone knows he's done a good job but only beause he's never ever failed to mention it, or the fact that he has such a small squad.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 some of these comments are completely OTT
