foxfanazer Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Anthony Pilkington Mark Noble Lescott or Caulker Moses (loan) Naughton Done!
lcfcbobby Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Would love to hear everyones Realistic ideas for players in for next season as I think we are going to need a few!!!
Jimothy Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 I'm sure this is totally different to the thread with almost exactly the same name that's about 3 threads down this page and therefore would take zero searching to find http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/93797-realistic-signings-if-we-go-up/
lcfcbobby Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Adam Johnson when Sunderland go down. not a bad shout but think his wages would be too high for us to be honest
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Anthony Pilkington Mark Noble Lescott or Caulker Moses (loan) Naughton Done! All EXCELLENT shouts. I'm sorry but he's really shit col. No he fookin aint!
foxfanazer Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 All EXCELLENT shouts. No he fookin aint! cheers. Can't decide on a striker....Someone like Shane Long maybe but Hull wouldn't sell
Mack Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Anya (Watford) Caulker is going back to Spurs I heard. Scott Sinclair will probably see us as drop down too far, and seems quite happy to rot in the Man City reserves and earn a fortune. Lescott would be fantastic but in reality probably could get a contract at a more established top flight team. IF Foolham go down there are are couple I'd like to pinch from there, although their owner is most likely to try and do a 'QPR' and buy his way back up and keep most of the current squad. In reality I believe Nigel and Walsh who does so much of this work (not to mention mr invisible Director of Football whatever his name is) will continue with their policy of sources quality targets from beyond the obvious. It's worked a treat lately with Knockaery. Mahrez and Vardy (eventually) so why change a working system? In truth I dont think we need that much either, 4 or so additions to replace those released along with the signing of our current players on new contracts should see us OK in my opinion.
Mack Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 This guy Signed for Genoa for 4 million euro last year and they would probably want at least double that now.
yorkie1999 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 After watching sunderland and west ham the other night, i would get half a dozen 7 foot tall basketball players in and play hoofball and corners, because thats how it seems football is played in the premiership.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 cheers. Can't decide on a striker....Someone like Shane Long maybe but Hull wouldn't sell As you say, Hull won't sell. I wonder whether Bayern might loan out Mitrovic? Powerful young striker, only 20, who doesn't look like breaking through yet at Munich (Lewandowski is joining them). Just a thought.

cityfanlee23 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Well that's changed, original reports were buy or sell If it was true, They would lose Pique, Roberto, Alves, affellay and dos santos on free transfers
dog_4 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 we need a centre back! Left back! Left mid, centre mid and a powerful striker. Lescott,Bertrand,Scott Sinclair,Lewis Holtby and Danny Welbeck
lcfcbobby Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 haha some people make me laugh! yes we will get a lot of extra cash for going up this year and for next years t.v rights, but its not all going to get spent on players and besides half the players people have mentioned on here that have had experience in the prem would cost far too much, then on top of that there wages will be far too high so we got no chance at all!! we will end up signing more players like knocky that have come through lower leagues aboard or more players like drinkwater that have come up through the youth ranks of a higher club that's never going to get a game as the bigger clubs buy there 1st team players. I really cant see any big names coming our way like people are mentioning!!
eye666 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 In case we need a holding/combative midfielder, I'd take William Kvist in a heartbeat. Haven't seen much of Fulham lately, but he's usually a very consistent and solid player in the games I've seen him play for Stuttgart, FC Copenhagen and Denmark. He's unwanted in Germany (i.e. cheap fee) and he's getting PL experience as we speak. Lucas Piazon on loan from Chelsea would be excellent. He's been pretty decent at Vitesse. Maybe Vydra on loan from Udinese? I know he hasn't really impressed this season, but he's still young and we know he has quality. Bryan Oviedo from Everton? Don't think Konch will cut it against the tricky wingers in the PL and it's risky to have Schlupp as first choice IMO. Isn't he crocked? Seem to remember an FA Cup game where he got a terrible leg break.
dannythefox Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 We need a striker with prem experience but I'd be surprised if we didn't bid for Jordan Rhoads he's the sort of player Pearson likes young hungry and a goal scorer, plus Pearson always speaks highly of him.

Munshi Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 If it was true, They would lose Pique, Roberto, Alves, affellay and dos santos on free transfers
martyn Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Ben Hamer Ikechi Anya Virgil van Dijk Ki Sung Yeung Vincent Aboubakar (or a striker of his type) Perhaps also another attack minded midfield in the mould of an Arnautovic (i.e rangy and can run past players)....
shen Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Isn't he crocked? Seem to remember an FA Cup game where he got a terrible leg break. He broke his leg in January, yes. But surely he's about recovered come August/September...?
