Pearson had said he was too expensive for us, but that he'd like him permanent, I think that was down to Milan. When the new owners signed him I was so pleased, I really though it was the beginning of a great thing! Such a shame it didn't work out for him here, I guess the manager merry go round didn't help the situation here with him, who knows. Good luck Waggy
Fox92 Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Decent for us during 09/10. We paid an over the top price for him, still think it was to keep us fans happy, and it never worked out for him. I'll just echo what Nige said post match last night, sometimes players arn't a fit for certain clubs and visa-versa.

Just thought I'd add my opinion on my local clubs forum about a player we've let go for free. In hindsight you're right, letting waghorn go was a mistake and we should have carried on lining his pockets for nothing. As stated before, the worst thing about it he was arrogant to even his own fans. Major douche and will be forgotten before the new season starts.
