RarFox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck waggy still remember that last minute winner against Bristol. Awesome moment.
fuchsntf Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 I would of kept him, if he would of been willing. I suppose it was time for him to secure a team that could promise regular games.shame his injuries never allowed him to secure a consistent run in the side. If Wigan get promoted, he'll score against us.
Unabomber Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Waggy was in the pub tonight, we ordered some lasagne and they gave us an extra portion of chips so we gave them to Waghorn and his pals and they were much appreciated.
Father Ted Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 You can never fault any player who has given 100%. It's a real shame that it didn't work out for Waggy and I hope that in the future it does for him, always loved his attitude and style of play. Seems a good lad of the field too and Wigan is a good side for him to go to. All the best Waggy!
PAULCFC Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good when he was on loan....then Mandrich decides to pay silly money for him and sven played him on the wing.Didn't really get a fair crack of the whip from us in my opinion.Wish the lad all the best.
pazzerfox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Martyn is a good lad. I saw him out a couple of times in Leicester, and he seemed a decent, down to earth, pleasant lad. I stood next to him in the urinal also...His penis is enormous!!!!
LCCFox96 Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 No issues with the guy and hope this transfer works out for him. Wigan is an exciting move and Uwe Rosler is a manager who gets the best out of his players. You never know - he may have premiership football next year too! Good luck Waggy!
dmayne7 Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good riddance. Another average footballer is off our wage bill That's nice of you.
Dickov22 Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 That's nice of you. I wouldn't have thought he'll be reading this thread.
ealingfox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Best of luck to him. There is a good player in there somewhere Waggy and I hope you can find him.
Leicesterpool Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Waggy, never really worked out in his second spell.
Babylon Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Better than the usual goons give him credit for, needs a regular spot in a team to move forward from when he joined. Decent player for this league.
Hollism Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Seems a nice lad by all accounts, and a young, talented footballer. thing is,has been the worst player on the pitch whilst wearing a city shirt. Nothing to do with a lack of ability, possibly just too desperate to stand out and be the next big thing originally, which didn't work and he struggled to find himself in our team. I genuinely wish him all the best, and i now have a sole reason for wanting Wigan to do alright
Dan Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Good luck to him. It's a shame it never worked out as I really liked the Waghorn of 09/10. Ever since then it's all gone wrong for him here.
Jace Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Wigan shouldn't be concerned that he couldn't get in the team here it's just we have had so many strikers all at a similar standard and the only way you can improve on that is getting some consistency with 2 or 3 of them and he missed out
KFS Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Great personality, but we can't keep players on the books for that reason. Good luck to him.
Mark_w Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 thing is,has been the worst player on the pitch whilst wearing a city shirt. When was this?
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 When was this? oh aye aye... the carrot has been dangled..
Guest Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 sad we earned absolutely no money out of his departure. Good luck Waggy but never against us.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Remember when we signed him on deadline day, and everyone was going crazy. Remember his last minute winner against Bristol City, Remember the emotion as he missed his penalty in the 2010 playoffs, we will miss you Waggy!
jamfox Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Good luck Waggy, shame it did not work out at Leicester. Great attitude and I think you go on to have a good future proving some of the moaning negative pric#s wrong. good move to a good club just shows your a decent player.
Bettsj2 Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 He's played himself into a contract at one of the form teams in the league. He's a good player that will do well there. Hope they go up. Be interesting to see how he does in the Prem.
