AKCJ Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 In a way I hope that Wigan come up just so when we play him next season that we can give him a good ovation. Never worked out here but he didn't stop trying.
Alex_LCFC Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo
Vicki Vixen Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Waggy. We still miss those inswinging corners.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck to him, always gave everything and with a bit more luck could've been a real success. Can't understand those slating him - never disgraced the club and he didn't decide the transfer fee.
bellind Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Martyn, come back and haunt us one day, you deserved better here.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo I haven't read the link but I'd assume Wigan have simply taken on the rest of his contract before he signs a new one in the summer. I'm sure Bert will confirm if that's the case.
MC Prussian Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo Do we get a transfer fee as he isn't a free agent at the mo His contract was running until the end of June 2014. Last reports earlier this year mentioned something in the vicinity of £450'000 - that was our alleged asking price. Also, since Waggy's turned 24 this late January, Wigan won't need to pay any additional compensation. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/pound-450-000-price-tag-puts-clubs-Waghorn-deal/story-20446487-detail/story.html
dynamark Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Lets be honest never going to be top quality decent but we have to raise our standard, mangaged some decent set pieces but its all about goalscoring and Waggy lacked composure. Best wishes to him
MPH Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Waggy, i never felt you got given a fair chance here and you are at your best when playing week in-week out. All the best at Wigan and with a couple of years of regular games you could really Grow as a player. All the best!
dynamark Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Just got the Citroen garage joke my mate is the manager. Maybe seats in row z will be saleable now
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good riddance. Another average footballer is off our wage bill Not being good enough for us was obvious, but at least he might find his own level at Wigan.
Alex_LCFC Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 It's a shame it didn't work out for him. I'm a waggy fan but on the other hand don't think he's good enough for our team. I also think for the wages he was ment to be on.. We could get better for that. Best of luck waggy.
shailen Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Will never forget that Bristol city last minute winner. Went absolutely mad! Good luck waghorn!
Brenfox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 If football was about hitting the woodwork he was the greatest player ever.
Vardinhio Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Waggy! Never got much of a chance in the last 18months due to us having in form players.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Definitely suits Wigans system, knock Derby out of the play offs for us Waggy!
Mark_w Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Some Wigan views for you, http://www.wigan.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25184&posts=8
leicesterisme Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Good luck Waggy. Such a shame it never worked out like it did in his first season with us, hope he does really well at Wigan.
