Embarrassing this from some people.

I've seen about three or four posters in this thread come out with the "yeah let's start a thread slagging off fellow fans instead of just enjoying the moment, we're all Leicester City blah blah de fcking blah"

1) Look at the title of the thread and the first post, pretty safe to say this is not a I told you so thread. It's someone holding their hands up something a you don't have the bollocks to do.

2) I understand you don't like being wrong, don't take your frustration on having a lack of foresight or footballing knowledge out on the rest of us

I thought he should've gone after Barnsley last season, it was so bad and was the tipping point of an awful, season-wrecking run where the football was shite, the atmosphere was toxic and his interviews did not help his cause. Didn't want him gone out of spite, just belief at the time that it wouldn't get better with him in charge and we might benefit from a new manager bounce.

So delighted to say that it was the right decision to keep him, he's learnt his lessons and ended our exile from the top flight. Massive credit.

This thread it's two mixed into one, admin obviously had some involvement, so comments about slagging fans off is from another thread started.

I just so wish I had your footballing for sight, you are so good I expect to see you in your new coaching role at the kp next season with your superior footballing knowledge, it's clear you are far superior to me, and I never played at a good level, because you know me so well.

The fact is ( and even Pearson admitted), this season could have gone either way, it all depended on how they came back from the playoff defeat, luckily for all involved in the club, it turn out great.

So sit up their on your high horse and enjoy your moment, but whatever you do don't fall off.

Also you will find even those that didn't have faith in Pearson last season, me included have back him all season, every home game and nearly all the away, so yes I was impatient last season after watching the season fall apart, yes I wanted a new face in, but once it was decided he was staying we/ I back him as leicester city manager, and the criticism I gave them last season I stand by, as at the time it was warranted and relevant, in hindsight the owners made the right decision, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The important thing is for people who reacted negatively last year to remember this thread next year. It's going to be tough to take at times next year. It doesn't mean Pearson's a bad manager it just means we are in a awfully tough league.

We are in safe hands with Nige and co and I hope we keep this management team in place for a few years yet.

Another Shit Season

Bnet

Dangerous Tiger

Seenitall

Bentleys ****ing Roof (kiss my ass)

Anyone who called Nigel Pearson NFP

your boys took one hell of a beating!!

Well done Nigel up the foxes and those who backed the manger like me from day one!!

Inbetween a barrage of personal abuse Bnet told me in a post how Paul Ince was a better manager than NP would ever be and how NP would never ever manage in the premier league !

Not seen him post recently though!

Either he has magically rediscovered common sense - or he's completely retreated to Bentleys, his safe haven.

One of the oddest posters with some of the crudest reasoning I've come across on here in the first half of the season, for sure.

I never thought I would have to say it, but now I d, and delighted to have to.

After all my negative posts, I apologise, to one and all, especially Nigel Pearson. I truly did not think for one moment he was the right man for the job, but I was wrong. Congratulations on a job well, from one of your biggest doubters.

Along with all the other posters on here, I wish you , the club, and all it's supporters, a happy and successful time in the Premier league.

This, this and this again!

If we're down near, or even at, the bottom of the Prem in September/October, or if some of the players are finding it difficult, let's remember that NP is a fantastic manager, who has brought us the best season we have had in over ten years. I don't think we'll go down next season, but if we do, let's go down with Pearson - so he can bring us back up the following year.

I was certainly not NP's biggest fan last season, but with two things he won me round well before now .....

Good Football

Different attitude

He has us playing some delightful entertaining football and that is the biggest reason to like him for me ..... Combine this with less defensive tactics as well as interviews and he had already won me over ..... Now he's achieved promotion I'm genuinely grateful to the bloke and will be 100% behind him next season ....

For the whole season regardless of league position.

Inevitably the same old Pearson haters will come out of the woodwork next season as soon as we enter a dodgy spell. You just know it.

I have never been a Pearson "hater", but for the first two seasons I was a doubter. Two totally different things, although I was quite aggressive towards him, which was a reaction to some who saw no weaknesses in him. He did have some, because all humans have them

I have put my hand up with this thread, and will support him throughout next season, which will be an exceptionally tough job for both the manager and the players.
