Voll Blau Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Anyone else on the Panini bandwagon? Football stickers seem to be the one part of my childhood I refuse to let go of... My workmate was stunned when I demanded two normals for a shiny today. Had to lay down the law of the playground early doors.
dogadug Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Shocked to see they're 50p for a pack of 5 now, used to be like 30p for 7! Saying that i'll probably get involved closer to the world cup

Guest MattP Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I'm in as well, started doing it again at the last World Cup.
westernpark Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Accidentally started the trading card version instead. It's still done by Panini. Hoping they still do a premier league one. Will have to get one for next season.
dogadug Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 You get get six packs for £2.75. Great value Seriously, Panini must make a LOT of money, especially when they release these world cup albums
DennisNedry Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I did the Premier League 2002/03 and I have it completed with the folder (but the folder is damaged). But back then at school there was always plenty of people to trade with. I remember to get the last player I needed to complete the set (he was a 2 star player for a bottom half team), I finally found somebody who had him, I swapped him about 75 cards including at least 10 5* shiny's for it. Mad times! Now though I'd have nobody to trade with.
lcfc1994 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Tempted but only want to do it if I can motivate myself to finish it Probably get two on the go next season though
SystonFox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I did euro 2012 and have it complete. Haven't got this yet but a few mates have. Very tempted
Bert Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I'm in. Got my first four packs the other night. Not one shiny!
Strokes Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I'm going to do this with my lad, help push him into footy subliminally.
Lamby Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 **** it, I'm in too. Not had one since I was like 12 though. I managed to complete the 00/01 one I think it was.
AKCJ Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I think that this is a complete checklist for it. http://www.footballstickipedia.com/uploads/DOCS/checklist-worldcup2014.pdf 639 stickers o:
Rincewind Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Don't know where to get them but i did see an album when I went to my game boarding night in the restaurant area.

Dan Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Only the World Cup could lead to this many collecting stickers
Rincewind Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Just done a quick calculation of the cost. £313 taking the 2.75 for 6 packs of 5. Works out approx 45p each X 639. I am willing to be corrected if my arithmatic is wrong.
