Lamby Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I got a free box from the WH Smith in Manchester in 2010. Was it big enough for a homeless person to live in?
Guest MattP Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Was it big enough for a homeless person to live in? If they are a Romany gypsy with no legs I think so.
foxoffderby Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 My 8 year old asked me today Daddy what do I do with the ones I've already got? I had to explain to him the concept of swaps with his pals at school. Not a clue these days
isaidno Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 http://www.fifa.com/stickeralbum/ Did this at the last world world cup , it's launched again next week
kingcarr21 Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 ive been wanting to do a sticker book for years and always forgot about it. I might just get this one.
cambridgefox Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 I got a free box from the WH Smith in Manchester in 2010.Did you sleep in your box? Was it big enough for a homeless person to live in?bah, beat me to it.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Shocked to see they're 50p for a pack of 5 now, used to be like 30p for 7! Saying that i'll probably get involved closer to the world cup Heck, when I was a kid they were 10p for a pack of 5. I collected them for 2010 World Cup, but as a 40 something found it difficult to find people to swap with - hanging round outside the school gates didn't seem like a good idea.
cambridgefox Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Anyway I'm in.My 10 year old wants me to and I didn't need much persuasion .
Rincewind Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Was it big enough for a homeless person to live in? V.ery original. if it was not for your parents Could you afford to live in rented private accommodation with the lifestyle that you lead. A private landlord would not tolerate missed rent. Anyway enjoy collecting your stickers, gambling and disappointing days out watching Charlton while you are young enough. And try not to piss your boss off too much or insult customers.

Well how do you think it would be for an OAP to do that?
Rincewind Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 No idea how you have come to that Ken. Even using 50p a pack for 5 means 50 quid for 500 stickers. How many is in a pack? I said it was quick.. Not as much as I thought then. It did not seem right. I know they rip you off but could not believe it was by as much as I got it. 50p/5=10p each X 639=? or 9p each for the 2.75 pack. 9p X 639=?
Hollism Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 50p for 5!?!? I never considered it wouldn't be 35p for 7 anymore, but sod it, I'm in
Alexikokopops Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 There's an online version if you're feeling cheap (and you want to be able to swap with the whole world. It launches on Tuesday. I still have it favourited from 2010 and if you go on the website it looks like they're still beta testing http://en.stickeralbum.fifa.com/game/flash

So if you were really lucky and got no swaps it would cost you £71 to complete it. Realistic though you'll be spending more than that.
AndWhat? Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Is the free album in this Sundays Sun or have I missed it?

Realistic though you'll be spending more than that. It's why you do it with friends. The more you do it with, the more chance you'll be able to collect them all. Will there be an album for the PL next season? Would love to do it with Leicester in it.
Alexikokopops Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 From my earlier post . This link works http://www.fifa.com/stickeralbum/ Yeah, that's the link I got the date from. I was just amused by the fact that they could be doing beta testing on the old link. I'm curious as to whether that'll work on Tuesday
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 I started after a bloke from work asked if I was going too. I laughed and said I hadn't had one since 98. I'm addicted, like being back on the playground. I'm half way through the book now. England team is so unbelievably hard to get got two and today I got the the shiney. I have alot of swaps though already .

Dan Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Is the free album in this Sundays Sun or have I missed it? The one just gone. I thought I'd missed it but it turns out someone had already bought it here. Bit of luck.
AKCJ Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 The one just gone. I thought I'd missed it but it turns out someone had already bought it here. Bit of luck. **** sake, that's made me even more annoyed that I didn't get it. Wanted to get the one with Leicester on the front page but I wasn't in the Leicester area so I didn't bother.
