Him being linked with Norwich and Brentford in the past suggests that his level is at least one step below the top tier.

If he's a good youthful option it makes sense to get him in now while he's on a free and give him chance to develop over here. From reading around on the internet everyone seems to think he's really got something and is still a hot prospect. But I have to agree, should we sign Wague and with Upson signed on and Was, Wes and Moore it's unlikely we will add anyone else (Miquel on a free possibly) and while both Wague and Upson looking useful additions, I'm not sure we have strengthen as much as possible for the short term future.Edit - not that I wouldn't take Wague on a free. He sounds like he could be a good player.

Secrecy seems pretty important in transfers nowadays, letting it out could mess things up.

Unless it's all but done. We don't what stage any potential deal is at. He could be ready to sign up this week for all we know. Equally he could just be leading us on for whatever reason.

And also so much misinformation. Wagué will "want" to sign for half a dozen clubs, Leicester are just one of many. People read way too much into Twitter messages nowadays.
