'Plastics' or not, as long as the support is there for the team. All these comments about hoping the club put a huge increase on new STH are ridiculous. You don't own the club or dictate who can or who can't support the club and watch games. Not everyone can attend all games due to other commitments or financial reasons.

The club would be stupid the raise prices significantly. For a start a huge increase will put off a lot of current STH, new STH and potential single match day ticket purchasers. It's not like the club need the money, they should have replicated what Derby have done.

End of the day, we are all fans of this club.

I don't buy this at all.

How many of those without a ST with legimitate financial/working committments this season will find that these problems eliminate themselves next season? We have roughly 16k STHs as it is. If we get 23k next season are you saying the extra 7k have suddenly come into money/had their shifts swapped?

It's a very fine line when having this discussion for non STHs to get angry at some STHs whilst STHs unless careful can come across as insinuating every new STH next season will be a plastic fan. I'm happy to have the debate but not if it turns into insults etc

I also don't get this, 'would rather have 32k/full house regardless of whether they're 'plastic fans' or not' attitude.

There have been times the last couple of months in particular where we've been flying and put in only a half decent first half or aren't 10-0 how the johnny come latelys had expected us to be. ('I've paid £35 for this ticket and we cant beat fookin Blackpool' type attitude)

I thought it was bad at times this season it'll be fookin awful at times next season when we're losing heavily etc. Our home support is often naff vocally anyway, particularly when there's a big away end, so it's not going to take much for the minority of tossers to have their boos heard over our pretty weak positive atmosphere. I honestly would rather have the type of fan who made up the 8k at Boro at home last season than I would who will make up the 32k next season.

If that comes across as jumped up I'm sorry but it's true.

I'm hearing price freeze for us Sth but 40% on the new ones up the foxes

I'm a current holder so happy with the freeze but that price increase is pretty massive, way more than I expected...

Due to work etc I can still only get to somewhere between 5 and 10 home games a season so this won't change for me

However it will be great to be in the Prem again none the less

I think 30-35% increase is way off the mark. I know disabled tickets have only been put up by 3%. I'm expecting a small increase, if any, for current STH. I think anything above 10% would be insulting.

I was told 10% increase was likely

I think people are underestimating the amount of 3pm Saturday games that will be moved next season.

If I were in your shoes I'd be looking at buying one anyway and selling it on a per game basis to family and friends

It's still better than most in the Championship to be quite honest. Not that that is saying a lot

If it is a 10% rise as rumoured for current STH based on 4 less games next season it actually equates to a near 30% price rise overall

Less games yes but majority of the games will be seen as Platinum fixtures.

So next season the Season Ticket prices will be based on quality of matches rather than quantity.

Yeah I have thought about it (in fact the wife says she will probs get me a half season ticket in December) but we will see (member this season)

A few of us do it. Though I give mine away rather than sell it.

Gets you on the priority ladder for away games too

i could get a season ticket but would not be worth.it as ill still be playing saturdays. will attend a few homes plus aways when i can

Season ticket increase could be the least of our worries, it's just been said that the Baggies have largely boycotted the Etihad as they were charged over £50 for their tickets.

A team fighting for survival.

Yeh each to their own. Personally its the sole reason I don't play Saturday football despite being asked each summer

Some1 ring the club tomoz see what date they gonna bring it out and find out the price so we can all stop making things up and getting angry i would say they will say about season tickets at the donny game and put them on sale then so every1 rushes and signs up and then we dont pitch invade so the pitch is good for the charity match and the rugby
