jammie82uk Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Not long to wait. They're ready to go... Is this another "I'll be surprised if it isn't tomorrow" thing
Leicester Lass Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Is this another "I'll be surprised if it isn't tomorrow" thing That was just a hunch I had based on timing, no info behind that one.
promised land Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 That was just a hunch I had based on timing, no info behind that one. Donny match programme? They seem to come out on a home game.
Fox92 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 What are you moaning for? We're Premier League. We'll pay regardless of the price. Let's enjoy the season and stop moaning. I've been a long term STH, just like many others here, so I've supported the club through the very dark times. I'd hate for the club to up the prices just because were premier league, I don't think it would be fair on the fans personally.
1966fox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Why are the current STH so bitter about new STH? I was a STH for around 15 years season after season when we were shit, remember those days? Grow up yes we are gonna get the elastics in next season, and????? Every team has them. I would rather an extra 10,000 elastics and fill the KP than the 20,0000 we had most of this season. STH are nothing special, it just means we pay up front and go to most matches well done you. Embrace the PL and I want 32,000+ cheering on the boys in blue elastic or not. I'm a STH and well said,

Dan Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 If they want to increase season ticket prices how about something like this. Current season ticket holders, prize freeze. People with booking history of more than 10 games for this season, 15% increase. New customers with zero booking history from this season, 30% increase. I'm struggling to disagree with that actually - providing there's any increase.
AndWhat? Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Everyone who had a season ticket in our League 1 season gets same prices as this season. Anyone who got one after 10% increase First season ticket since 03/04 30% increase First ever season ticket 50% increase
davieG Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Why are so many fans hell bent on increases in ticket prices for anyone, they're already too expensive. It just shouts out "I'm holier than than thou" How about we campaign to reduce the prices due to there being less games and that the gate income means significantly less to the club with the windfall they get for being in the PL.
WhispyWizard Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I'm hearing price freeze for us Sth but 40% on the new ones up the foxes I'd hope that this is the case, but can see very slight increases for current holders. Whether or not they sell new STs at the increased prices is irrelevant, they will likely sell out most matches regardless with general sales.

Absolutely!
JJS84 Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 A price rise for new STH's is just crazy and I don't think that club would risk pricing people out of buying one. Surely once the early renewal for all current STH's has passed all season tickets will be the same price regardless of if your new or renewing.

I'd imagine it's more a case of IF the club are going to put prices up, then it should be people jumping on the bandwagon who pay more. Which of course they will, as they do every single year as we get early bird prices.

Do these people not realise that in amongst those so called 'new' fans there will be plenty that have been going for years but may now need to get a ST, probably at a loss just to be sure of seeing some of the games. They'll also be genuine newbies going to their first ever games just like they did in the past. Blokes who've not been able to go due to having young children but who are now ready to take their kids or move them out of the family stand. Just makes me angry that people are so selfish and up themselves.
Tommy G Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I'm amazed this still hasn't been announced..........
Happy Fox Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I'm amazed this still hasn't been announced.......... This is LCFC for you slower than a slug for announcing news.
Rocky Dennis Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 I've been a supporter since 1989, I have not had an ST for the last 2 seasons due to having 2 small children, however I did have one for the previous 8 seasons including relegations and League 1, I have had memberships for the last 2 seasons and gone to as many games as possible including several away games. I went to all but 3 matches in 1989/90 when we nearly went don to div 3. I also donated £100 cash to the club's fundraising effort when we nearly went under Q) Am I a plastic/elastic? Q) is it right that I pay x% more for an ST next season than (for example) someone who may have had an ST this season but not in the last 8-10 years? Q) are you more of a supporter if you hold a current ST? Point is: This attitude by some towards 'plastics' is at best laughable and at worst insulting. Surely a full stadium benefits everyone, not least the fortunes of the club? This idea that current ST Holders are in some way superior to those who aren't is frankly embarrassing, some of you lot need to pipe down a bit!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Surely as current ST holders are the only ture supporters they should have a price cut, which a new season ticket purcasher can subsidise and a opition of 2 away tickets or an extra 2 home tickets for any match. Don't forget the early bird discount as well and a player of your choice to attend a personal engagement of the ST's choice and any squad players that are not being used can do meet and greet.

I'm totally behind this too but I just cannot for the life of me seeing it happen. I would love them to prove me wrong. I'm amazed this still hasn't been announced.......... That makes one of us then
