LanguedocFox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Constraints like what? Don't forget they've still received parachute payments this season. Small squad? We've used the same amount of players as them. Don't get me wrong, he's done a magnificent job there but there are teams in this league who have a much, much smaller budget than them and none of them complain about it half as much. I don't find Dyche likeable at all, his eagerness to blame their 'lack of resources' and referees if a result goes against them is annoying. Didn't one of the Burnley fans on here suggest that virtually all of the parachute payments had gone to repay directors' loans. I agree with you that Dyche's constant moaning about his position (compared - but unstated - with Pearson's) is a pain in the backside, but there may be an element of truth in it. Mind you, I wouldn't swap him for Pearson any day.
ScouseFox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 if they didn't have such a massive nob head as a manager i'd be pretty pleased for them really
Unabomber Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well done to everyone at Burnley except gravel throat.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 They are Fosters, but we are Carling. Congrats. We're both crap beers? Anyway, congrats Burnley.
MC Prussian Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Congratulations to Burnley for following us into the so-called/alleged "promised land". It would help others to like the club even more if they finally started to admit how good they really are instead of acting in such modest ways.
Saxondale Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well done to them, they deserve the second automatic spot. Let's hope the play-off winners are worthy too. Wigan or (dare I say it) Derby.
fuchsntf Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Leicester and Burnley, Nigel Peason, and Sean Dyche. 2013/2014. I would love to to get the clapping hands here..42 of them. Both in their different ways managed their Teams to the position against all odds, to championship promotion and new experiences and dreams to aspire to The Premier league. 2 English managers at that, I would like these 2 with Pullis -CP, and S.Bruce-Hull to start a new era in the PL.

Happy Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Fair play to Burnley far exceeded their own expectations, likewise with us to a lesser extent. Now enjoy 2nd place , we are the champions.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Glad they're coming up simply because potentially 6 easy points next season. That Dyche is a gravel sounding sour faced cvnt.
surrifox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Congratulations Burnley you deserve your promotion . Dyche is a tit , but that shouldn't detract from the Club's achievement
