Jakemoore Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Congrats Burnley, we were both miles ahead of the rest! They didn't have a mark on us! See you in the prem ☺ï¸
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well deserved promotion and happy to have them in the top tier with us for a number of reasons (think we can be stronger next season, good away day, keeps the likes of QPR/Forest/Watford down). I have to say that I don't think it could be disputed that we deserve to win the league however (not that I think Burnley will care too much given the fact that they're up) as we've been by far the best team in the division whilst Burnley as runners-up have been a results machine, grinding out great results whilst never really dominating teams in the manner we have at times.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 They deserve it, been very consistent, only lost 5 games, worthy runners up! I don't mind Dyche, when he is interviewed he is talking to Burnley fans not everyone else. Anyway with him and Pearson in the top league, big Sam has competition in the hard looking bastard Premier league manager contest! Easy we aren't there yet.
Leicesterpool Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well done to Burnley look forward to seeing them in the premier league with us, but the league is ours!
The Doctor Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 They are Fosters, but we are Carling. Congrats. Don't think that's fair on us - we're actually half decent, far better than carling. Anyway, **** 'em - Dyche has shown himself to be an ungracious, arrogant twat all season.
purpleronnie Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Nice to see a good-hearted pitch invasion, it seems the only club who hates the thought of one is ours.
Salieri Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 All season I was expecting them to fall away and make the Play Offs at best but they've proved me wrong. Great achievement and thoroughly deserved.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Congrats Burnley on being awarded favourites for relegation!
Super_horns Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Congrats Burnley on being awarded favourites for relegation! Isn't that usually the play-off winners.. Pleased to see Dyche achieve success after we dumped him rather harshly.
ousefox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Incredible achievement for the size of the club and the money spent by other teams in the league. Congrats
Vacamion Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Two English managers lead teams into the top flight - good stuff. Congratulations to Burnley, thoroughly deserved.

Well you finish where you deserve to finish, so if they do end up above us, they will deserve to finish as champions. I will be mightily pissed off if they do though! Anyway, well done Burnley on their promotion, i can`t bring myself to congratulate Dyche though, i can`t stand the bloke.
Guest Col city fan Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Their fans must be pinching themselves to be honest.
Leicester Lass Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I see Dyche still can't resist playing the 'little old Burnley' card: 'It's getting harder to win automatic promotion to the Premier League because of all the constraints on teams like ourselves.'
Kitchandro Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Fair play to Burnley and Dyche, they've deserved it. Dyche could do with a personality transplant though. See what I mean about literally everyone else getting a pitch invasion at some point though!

Kitchandro Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Some would say the same about our very own Nige. I love Nige. He'd never come out with the inferiority complex crap that Dyche has.
Soar Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Fvck em. They might have done well this season, but having Sean Dyche as manager makes them a disliakable club. How many times will he say "they are market leaders because they've spent so many £50 notes" next year.
Fox92 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Fair play to them. Not a massive fan of Dyche or Burnley, they are dislikable to me, but they've had a great season and deserve promotion.

LanguedocFox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Congratulations to Burnley. I'm not a huge fan of Dyche as a personality, but what he's done with a small squad is absolutely brilliant (just as our own man has). How let's go and dent some Premier League egos.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well done, fully deserve it and certainly have been the second best side in the league...
Carlos88LCFC Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Dyche has got a bit to big for his boots. His attitude has changed through the season, I liked him at a certain point of this season. Now he irritates me! Well done Burnley though. Well deserved. Fans seem a good bunch. Can see the police being in force for the remainder of this season in our games after seeing the scenes at Burnley! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Leicester Lass Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 You don't think its true? Constraints like what? Don't forget they've still received parachute payments this season. Small squad? We've used the same amount of players as them. Don't get me wrong, he's done a magnificent job there but there are teams in this league who have a much, much smaller budget than them and none of them complain about it half as much. I don't find Dyche likeable at all, his eagerness to blame their 'lack of resources' and referees if a result goes against them is annoying.
