To take a team tipped for the bottom half to promotion is a fantastic achievement. Him and his backroom team also seem to do a very good job keeping their players fit which has been the key factor in both our promotions.

You could also say that Pearson has taken a club who would've been absolutely removed of any morale after losing the playoffs in such a heartbreaking fashion to runaway leaders having made few signings. Pearson and his backroom staff have kept their players even fitter with goals coming from all over the pitch and building a team that nobody would argue is the strongest team in the league.

Mack Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Well done to them. I was sure they would fade under the specter of injuries / suspensions etc, but they have kept on going and all credit to them for getting there. Got to say they have overachieved whilst QPR / Wigan etc have underachieved.

I don't mind Dyche, when he is interviewed he is talking to Burnley fans not everyone else. Anyway with him and Pearson in the top league, big Sam has competition in the hard looking bastard Premier league manager contest!
