For me ..

I also try and sign Michael Bostwick.. this guy rarely has a game under 7.00

whether I'm a Prem team or league 1 or Scottish cham (Rangers only team he'd go too)

knockynice, don't get complacent though because teams will give you more respect and become more defensive.

I can never seem to win more than 3 games in a row. I always lose on the 4th game! Then the cycle starts again. Any suggestions?

Any advice to combat teams who play more defensively or how not to be complacent?

3rd season I survived on the final day, finished 22nd with 44 points lol

Just started the 4th season, Blackburn & Blackpool are now in league 2.

Started well actually, 5th after 13 games with 21 points. Mid-table is the aim.

Probably my biggest ever achievement, I got Accrington into the play-offs and beat Mansfield on penalties in the semi and Blackpool (5-2) in the final.

Piss all budget for league 1, after 10 games I was 20th, Colchester (predicted to finish 21st, sat 6th in the league) offered me the job (they have got Vardy up front).

I've taken the job and I'm in and around the play-offs after about 26 games.

My plan is to gain promotion from every division (I can't manage in a division higher until I've earnt it) before winning the premier league and champions league (hopefully with Leicester).

Playing on a lower mentality is sometimes more beneficial because it gives you more space and less likely to be hit on the counter.

In the pregame team talk use assertive or aggressive, even if you're winning against a side you should beat but only narrowly bollocking them can guard against complacency

Makes sense.

Quick question? What do you set your training regime to? For example, a week with only a game on Saturday, I will have the general training on defending and match tactics (2/3 days prep) on attk.movement.

What do you, or anyone else, have? I was just wondering, for instance when I concede a large amount of goals conceded are from corners!

I don't really bother with training, I quite often change my tactics so I set my training all the way to the left to keep the familiarity high.

Try using a zonal setup for corners, have 4 zonally marking then, two on the posts and do what you want with the rest.

Urgent help needed.

My Colchester save (Which I am doing very well with) won't load!!

I went to bed last night, saved it, quit the game and turned my laptop off. My other saves can load but not this one?!?!

Trying to drag St Albans from the Vanarama South to the Prem. Mammoth task. Took them up first season and finished 12th in the Conference second season. Struggling season 3 early on.

It's 2016 and Millwall have a centre back pairing of Lescott and Ferdinand whilst Liverpool's back up keeper is the 39 year old Roy Carroll lol

So I won promotion with Colchester (via the playoffs) and then finished 10th in the championship in my 1st season.

Leicester (lost in the play-off semis) then offered me the job, needless to say, I took it.

At the end of the 2019/20 season, here's the squad I inherited:

Anders Lindegaard

Kasper Schmeichel

Adedeji Oshilaja

Eddie Davies*

Dante

Grant Hanley

Timm Klose

Tomas Sivok

Elderson Echiejile

Neil Taylor

Tom Cairney

Hope Akpan

Ben Pearson

Heldon

Knocky

Eduardo Vargas

Jamie Murphy

Yannick Bolasie

Riyad

Adam Clayton

Tom Booty*

Mohammed Abdellaoue

Nouha Dicko

* denotes regen.

A lot of players, earning a lot of money. I'm feeling a season of consolidation and fat trimming, then aim to gain promotion next year.

Oh they also had Troy Deeney in the reserves.

Wage budget of £623k per week! Busy summer ahead.

Smashed League One with Birmingham, won the JPT too. Now currently 10th in the Championship first season back after about 10 games. Pretty inconsistent but not playing as bad as I thought we would. Long way to go but hoping to make the play offs.

Las Palmas 4-0 Atletico Madrid. That actually happened.

Of course we then go and lose at Elche & Granada.

After getting sacked with Reading, Colchester and Luton I'm now a decent manager. Promotion from League 2 with Oldham, then leaving them to take the Coventry job. I lost in the playoff semi and the JPT final then came 12th the season after. Oldham have since appointed Mick McCarthy and have been relegated to the conference!

Currently 8th in the league and hoping for playoff push. I have a Junior Lewis love affair with a player I had way back at Reading about 6 seasons ago called Liam Kelly. I've had him on loan almost everywhere I've been and now his contract has expired so he's come to me on a free! He's now a full Rep Ireland International too! It's getting tough to compete as the club are ruined financially so I'm having to bring in players on frees where I can.

After my Col.U save went corrupt I decided to start again with Leicester. I'm currently 8th at the start of the January transfer window.

                 Kasper
Simpson, Was, Moore, De Laet

                Cambiasso
         Drinkwater   Powell
Mahrez                          Konckhaert
                   Ulloa

I'm in the Carling Cup semi-final.

I'm desperate to sign some new players but Top is a bit tight with his Sterling this year! Although I have brought Keko on a free-transfer. Any suggestions for free-transfers or cheap players to get for Leicester?

Anyone noticed that BBC transfer deadline day live feed got in a 'FM expert' to commentate on transfers?  I think it is bit ridiculous to be honest lol

Finished first season in the championship 18th with Crewe, should have been better but at least we weren't relegated!

Had to sell my whole midfield because other clubs were interested and they wanted to go.. got good money got about £10 million for 3 of them.

Instead of replacing them all. I've decided i'm going to use my youth players more. as I produce some of the best English talent.

A question for all!

I'm fast forwarding the game a little so I'm going on holiday when match-day comes .... but my assistant never employs my tactics for the game. He always uses 4-4-2 defensive. Can someone tell me how to stop this so the assistant plays with my tactics only, and the players I've selected for the first team!

When you choose how long you're going to be on holiday, there is a box above the dates, saying 'use current tactics when possible) tick that.
