scraped into the playoffs with brizzle city, 95th min winner on the final day a la Forest 2013. Win the semi against Bolton 1-0 in extra time of the 2nd leg (nervy as ****) then in the final, brought 2 strikers on for pens in the 118th min and them Luongo scores a ****ing worldy freekick in the 121st for Swindon. Was offered the Sheff Weds job 2 days before the final and delayed it for a week to see if we'd go up or not.

Do you mean a face rebound? If so it's funny you say that because I just had a goal like that a couple of days ago.

Started at Betis now ain't ya

I've had a Betis save every year for about five or six years, yeah. Didn't think I was going to bother this year as I'd already dabbled in La Liga with Valencia but ended up doing one anyway.

Before this year I did Leicester, St Pauli and Betis every year. I've had a play with all sorts this year and not really stuck at anything beyond two or three seasons. Perugia were alright I suppose. Kinda lost some of my enthusiasm. Not surprising, I feel the same with the Total War series. I've been playing both for about as long as they've existed and they never change too much.

lol you wee stalker.

Sandro has just scored one of the best goals I've ever seen on FM. Whipped cross from the wing and does a turning, acrobatic, half-overhead, Rooney-style, first-time bicycle kick. :nigel:

Best bit is I didn't actually notice it when it went in as I was chatting to he missus and it was in a game I was winning comfortably. Only realised what had happened when he then won goal of the week. lol

Age old boring question I know, but wtf is going on with injuries since the 9.3 update? For Gladbach I spunked my entire budget in the 2015 summer on making Kramer sign on a perm and getting Vietto from Villarreal. Literally got 24 players eligible for the first team (in Germany under 17's can't play for the seniors) with 11 injured atm, I'm well and truly fcuked.

I haven't had an injury crisis like that in... well basically ever.

I just had my first long-term injury in a long, long time (cruciate, 8 months out) but I generally get no more than three or four short term injuries at a time.

Sometimes it does feel a bit ridiculous when you get two or three players in the same position (always my wing backs) injured at the same time but an entire squad wiped out? Never happened.

What do people do to their players? I've always get the max allowed physios and fitness coaching with the highest star / physio ratings I can find available. I don't play players if they've got less than about 92/93 fitness unless I'm really desperate.

:dunno:

It is well and truly ridiculous. I had about 7 players out at the same time, which at the time, truly ****ed me up.

Just rotate as much as you think you can get away with although it'll probably backfire every now and then.

Sign a big squad and just accept that you're going to have whingers. Even with my small squads I'm still getting the waterworks from mediocre players who think they should be in the team ahead of Adama Traore (I'm looking at you Ezequiel Schelotto).

I'm either just cynical and selective with when I notice things (we all are to a degree) but I am absolutely convinced you get more injuries when it comes to a big season definer and again I think it happens too often for it to be by chance. In my game against Malaga on the last day of the season where I needed a point for 4th I had three injuries before the game, another three before half time and had to play with 10 men by the end despite having two players on the pitch who had knocks. It was an absolute joke.

I'm about 7th this season around November time. Ran into Arsenal in the CL which resulted in the crushing I feared, although we did win at home. Ended up in a group with Basel, Braga & Maribor. In true Dan style I lost at home to Maribor, drew at Basel and beat Braga home and away with ease.

Not a bad season again really considering they're all tired and we've lost our absolute key player from last year. Diogo Goncalves from Benfica has been a pretty sound replacement for a million quid.

Check me out, all like the next Ashley. You wait til the summer's "what will we wear in the championship" thread, I'll be whoreing the rep points with my new mad skills.

Got to be honest, it really upsets me that the badge on the home shirt is about three pixels lower than the badges on the away and thirds.

Not bad, what did you make them with?

Photoshop. I've been making my own facepacks for a while but this is the first time I've played around with kits.

It's pretty straightforward with the templates to be honest and they're all on sortitoutsi. All I did was change the colours around and place a cut out vector of the Betis badge on.

It takes an hour or so of fiddling to teach yourself, really. Correct size and placement of logos is trial and error and takes a few goes. It would be just as simple to put a sponsor on there, there's loads of cut out vectors on the internet, you wouldn't even have to trim them down yourself. I opted out for personal preference.
