Frost Posted 23 March 2015 Posted 23 March 2015 My laptop is nowhere near good enough to run this game properly (in the early stages of building my own PC instead) but even so, decided to try and get into this version with Monaco. Not really a challenge but since Rybolovlev has stopped splashing the cash and has now focused on a more strict youth development plan (cheap) I thought it'd be worth messing around with (and to actually get me back into the game more importantly). So, 5 games in, won my first 3, beat Lens 7-1 (away), lost at home to PSG 0-4 but then I managed to sign Veratti for about £4m and Marquinhos for £2.2m. Is the game broke? Switched it off after this point as its unbelievably unrealistic
Dan Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Is it just me who absolutely pisses it to the Europa League quarters every time without fail? Even when I'm managing good, but not brilliant sides we just seem to be able to destroy everyone in the groups and the next round. FC Basel shouldn't be losing 3-0 and 4-1 here. They're a decent side. No doubt I run into a Dortmund or Benfica though.

Won my first ever Premier League title at 1am this morning. With Norwich in 2019! Promoted in my first season and a few years of finishing between 6th and 10th somehow managed to push on and win it with Jordan Ibe and Aleksander Dragovic starring. Lost a bit of motivation for the game now though. First ever bit of success has left me feeling empty

Halfway through the first season i'm 1pt behind leaders Videoton and play them in the final game of the season at home Fully expect to fall away before that though

Lost a bit of motivation for the game now though. First ever bit of success has left me feeling empty I'm really struggling to get the best out of Dragovic in his first half a season with Gladbach. I prefer playing Sule and Jantschke who I feel offer a more solid base. Sule is different gravy, cost just £7m from Hoffenheim and is playing out of his skin at just 21. 4 points clear after 16 games in 2016/17, I was 6 clear this time last season before injury took apart all the hard work, but I've got a much stronger squad this time around and have knocked Real and Roma out of the Champions League Group Stage.

I don't get the valuations on this game. Fabio Borini, mediocre and plays on the left hand side of midfield for Stoke is valued at £26mil. Rescaldani, league records of 13 in 28, 18 in 36, 18 in 38 & 20 in 33, 30 in 49 in all comps this season for me, with about ten assists a season, on a four year deal, aged 26, is worth £2.2mil

Ive won everything over and over and over, ive built the best squad that money could ever buy, Bayern are ranked as the best European club, im a legend, fans want a statue, blah blah blah. Ive reached the point where i need a new challenge. Ive just started a new game. Im Solihull Moors. Ive just played a pre season friendly in front of a crowd of 31 vs Welshpool Town. I have no money, half my players arent on contracts. And i can only offer £200 a week. And ive got Darren Byfield up front. What the fvck do i do?

Brainy Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Can anybody tell me how to prevent getting a stupidly unrealistic amount of injuries (and out for long periods too) during a 3 month winter break? Tried what I thought would be the logical thing to do but not much luck, the team im with has a very low budget so i've only got one staff member for each role and they're not exactly the greatest. They seem to cope okay during the season though so everybody dropping like flies during the winter is a bit strange at the moment
Fox92 Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Managed to get into second place (I'm Birmingham City) with about 14 games to go and then my goalkeeper got a bad injury. So now I play a young lad in goal and he literally lets everything in. Now sitting 5th - 6th and 7th both 6 points behind me - with 6 games left. Very tight.
