Jace Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 I heard Sky favour Leeds games because the TV transmission team are based in Leeds so many of them are Leeds fans and then use their fanbase as a good excuse to support it, also less travel and expense for them and more time at home too. Just a rumour though.

Just a rumour though. Isn't that also touted as a reason they put us on all the time? They're based near Leicester as Leicester's in the middle of the country and minimises transportation costs.
Grandad. Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 I won't go the whole hog and say sky have ruined football, but I'm struggling to find any one thing that sky has done for me regarding making football more entertaining. Yeah, the hundreds of games a season isn't a good enough reason.
Soup Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Yeah, the hundreds of games a season isn't a good enough reason. Didn't you read my post, you've stated something you enjoy.
Grandad. Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Didn't you read my post, you've stated something you enjoy. The fact there are hundreds of games of the sport you love doesn't entertain you? You're either a lesbian or a Rugby fan.
Soup Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 The fact there are hundreds of games of the sport you love doesn't entertain you? You're either a lesbian or a Rugby fan. .Obliviously I'm both of them,as I don't like watching a square box and jumping up and down in my lounge.
LCFC2429 Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Who cares were all going to be at the game anyway? Oh wait haha
Grandad. Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 .Obliviously I'm both of them,as I don't like watching a square box and jumping up and down in my lounge. Fair enough, if you can't enjoy watching other teams play football then I worry about your football opinion if you only watch football down the City and other grounds Leicester play at.

That's fine mate as I don't really have an opinion on football in general,i go to football for other things. That may seem sad to you,but if all I did was watch the game I'd of given up years ago.
C-man Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 What an awful idea Go on, explain why it's awful? 99% of PL games would still be able to be shown if that's what people are worried about.
AKCJ Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 The fact there are hundreds of games of the sport you love doesn't entertain you? You're either a lesbian or a Rugby fan. It baffles me why you bother with this site. All you do is pick arguments.

Yeah, fair play you go down the City. But I don't see how Sky haven't done anything entertaining for you when it comes to their coverage of Football? It baffles me why you bother with this site. All you do is pick arguments. It baffles me that you continue to pick arguments with me when you're thick as shit but hey ho.
ealingfox Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Also the allure of the Play-offs has increased since last season, apparently some mug missed a penalty and then a piss-easy rebound and the other team scored 20 seconds later, or something like that. Was quite exciting for the neutral supposedly.
Bert Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Personally don't think there's anything better than being able to watch two games on a Sunday afternoon. Perfect to chill out watching the sport I love.

What have they done for me,me mate not you. They ain't done jack for me.Football was around long before Murdoch and his crew turned up.
Tommy G Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 What have they done for me,me mate not you. They ain't done jack for me.Football was around long before Murdoch and his crew turned up. Good Grammar Anyway - there are lots of things that have been good or bad in the past. Could you watch chelsea in 3D in the 60's? Nope. Embrace it
Grandad. Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 What have they done for me,me mate not you. They ain't done jack for me.Football was around long before Murdoch and his crew turned up. Brought you coverage of Play Off games, the Football League games, Champions League, England internationals, Premier League games, League Cup games, Sky Sports News, the Ryder Cup, WWE , the Ashes and many more.. Fair enough if you are only interested in football for Leicester and you are able to go to every home and away games this season, then Sky probably hasn't done anything for you. For me, Sky is brilliant, yeah I get to see Liverpool a lot on there but I love watching football no matter who is playing half the time, I love watching the Darts at Christmas, I'm embarrassed to say I am 23 and I still love Wrestling so Sky gives me all them things to essentially be entertained, at a price I know but in my lifetime Sky has been a God send.

You're a grandfather at only 23? You must have been born with pubes then?
NewburyFox Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Agree with every word. They've been an absolute joke this season. Look at the amount of stupidly long journies they've made earlies as well. Burnley v Ipswich & Sunderland v Cardiff were given mid-days this weekend. I also think it's a joke how the entire league has to move to 12:15 on the final day to accomodate $ky. Yeovil v Middlesbrough is now a 12:15. I agree that every game should kick off at the same time but 12:15? Can they not just edit the contract to allow for one matchday where they can show 3pm? Oh no wait that would probably jeopardise Malaysian's interest in the '#EPL' The Boro travel coaches are having to leave the Riverside at 4.15am. Anyone who makes that journey deserves a medal.
