Jordan Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 The club is just going really hard to get rid of all the shirts left in stock. They wouldn't have this problem if they went with two-year cycles, but maybe they wouldn't have as high of a profit margin on moving shirts, either. I wouldn't have minded a decent Football League Champions t-shirt, like what most teams put out when they win titles, but the name/trophy shirt is awful and I'll never wear anything with the tired "KEEP CALM" meme. I suppose normally, it's the kit manufacturer's job to put out those shirts, but as the club is contracted to Genesis, and not Puma, I should have expected this.
flintshirefox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I think I've still got a 2002/3 promotion t shirt in a drawer....if I do a sticker saying 2013/14 that should save a few quid. Never ceases to amaze me how clubs try to milk supporters!
sly1 Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 £42 c, mon rip off old shirt now .How much are the premiership ones going to be then?
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Don't buy it then! As someone has already said, they're not forcing you to buy them. Some will choose to buy them
Beliall Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 i dont think its a rip off though, i pay about £40 for a shirt every year with printing, at the start of the season that price would be £60 easily with printing
stripeyfox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Can I get one if I've only been to 7 games this season (I don't have all the ticket stubs)?
ImBlue Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Can I get one if I've only been to 7 games this season (I don't have all the ticket stubs)? Yawn
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Can I get one if I've only been to 7 games this season (I don't have all the ticket stubs)? Bitter
lgfualol Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Any of you that dont buy the shirt are plastics. You support the club no matter how much it costs. Jokes aside. How shitty are the club for this. The shirts probably cost less than £1 to make.
tonytony Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Think these look smart but once again a little bit of a rip off! But like others have said: A real nice thing to buy for years to come - if you are mad to buy one for £45
Itsthejoeker Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Much rather buy one of the champions t-shirts like they did when we won league one.
blue army 1988 Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Wait a good month or two and therell be giving them away.
pen_3 Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Buy one of these fookers instead - UP THE CITY! http://www.redbubble.com/people/ntcs/works/11863390-foxes-champions-2014-distressed

Beliall Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 managed to get through, no free prining on embroidered shirts, so yes, it is a bit of a rip off.
