foxfanazer Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 So what does everyone reckon the club will do next season regards pricing? It's gotta be frozen at the very least surely? They cannot put prices up, can they?! Unless the swindle out the old 'There are 4 more games in the championship' line. I highly doubt they'll lower prices that just simply wouldn't happen, so it's gotta be a frozen. Can see alot of people not renewing, notably alot of the ones who jumped on the bandwagon for this season - Not just because we've been relegated but lets be honest the team/club hasn't exactly sold themselves to new fans who thought they'd give it a go this season have they? It's been poor stuff, not really gave a good account of themselves have they? I myself will probably go to form saying i'm unsure whether to or not but will end up doing so. I'll be renewing whichever league we're in so long as they don't put the prices up too much. Just love going to the football
promised land Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 IIRC renewing in SK2 this season was £415, year before was £399 if I have it right, hard to remember as I pay in full rather than over the season. Shall renew regardless though. It would be harsh to up it from that if we are going down, those extra 7000 will desert like rats on a sinking ship I reckon.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 They'll justify upping prices due to us having more home games. 100%.
Gary Eatfood Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 They'll justify upping prices due to us having more home games. 100%. That would be commercial suicide in my opinion. The owners have got their work cut out to probably retain just 25% of the new season ticket holders from this year. I do hope you're wrong.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 I don't think they will put them up and I for sure will be there next season regardless as I love my club
Soar Fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 If they price freeze them I'll renew, if they put them up I'll just buy tickets on the day. I miss more games in the championship due to having more midweek fixtures and it clashing with work.
ithuriel Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 Will go back to buying tickets on a game by game basis instead of buying a season ticket, so I can sit all around the ground again on how I feel
Soar Fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 What's the price of a matchday ticket in the championship?
body102 Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 They should give everyone who was a season ticket holder before this season a free season ticket to make up us being not competitive enough. A bit like Bayern (they refunded the ticket money) did but obviously the rest of teams in their league were not competitive so they won everything.
Bayfox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 What they should do. Reduce then What they will do. Freeze price.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 What's the price of a matchday ticket in the championship? Last season was £15-45 ish depending on the game category and where you sat/stood.
Thrill Bert Fox Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 After 25 years plus as a season ticket holder I might have a real dilemma because if NP is still here I will find it difficult to buy one for the 15/16 season in the championship. Not sure but hopefully I won't have to decide and he won't be here next season and I can renew with pride.

Interesting attitude towards the man that guided us to 100+ points and has made the play offs at least in every championship season. Questions at this level yes, but at the championship level surely few better?
Matt Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 They had to freeze them didn't they!? The fact individual tickets will be extortionate for Championship football probably seals me buying a ST (Almost half price in comparison to buying individual tickets - if the other thread is correct saying Cat B games will be around £40 for Championship football )
