brisfox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 This season I went to most away games. I was wondering which ground you visited was the best( or indeed the worst!) and which fans were the best coming to our ground. Personally, I liked the Reebok stadium and also Brighton. Thought the best fans were Yeovil and Doncaster.
Bayfox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Whats your criteria? For me best away days we're blackpool, Bournemouth and qpr. Weekend at the seaside seems to bring the best out of people. And I love a day out in london as well. As for visiting supporters. No idea as I'm sat to far away.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 QPR was decent due to the result and atmosphere but I'm starting to dislike London trips Burnley for me. Fantastic ground, great weather, brilliant result, decent drinking venue (cricket ground) I'd perhaps agree with Yeolvil/Doncaster on the away fans coming to us. Likeable clubs likeable people
Fox92 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 QPR away for me. Always liked the visit to Loftus Road, enjoy London away days and this season it was just an excellent win.
Agent Fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best ground - Millwall - awful fans moaning constantly but my fav away day this season. Best visitors - Yeovil
Stadt Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I know Leeds are a disgusting club but their numbers and noise levels are unrivalled in the Championship.
Monsell1976 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Liked wigans ground, and the atmosphere with Doncaster at home was great, obviously better because the position they were in, so many highs and lows
Bayfox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I know Leeds are a disgusting club but their numbers and noise levels are unrivalled in the Championship. Unfortunately so are the repair bills
Stadt Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Unfortunately so are the repair bills Hahaha I remember arguing with some cretin on twitter about it!
Weller in Tights Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best ground visited was ------Welford Road. YES! :yesyes: :innocent: Boring (as always)
Weller in Tights Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Really impressed by the Reebok, really nice ground, I had never been there before. Can't stand Leeds, but they always make plenty of noise.
Jace Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Only away match I went to this season was Yeovil the ground felt like we were playing a pre season friendly
LCFC FOX Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 I really likes Barnsley away this season. ONE STEPHEN DAWSON. QPR and Burnley was up there too. Derby were good when they came. Leeds were decent considering a boring dull game. Yeovil were decent considering the numbers and Donny were decent too.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best fans visiting us - Leeds. They are every year. Biggest club outside the top flight by an absolute mile, whatever people's thoughts on them. Best away - Burnley. Won't forget that day out for a long time.
Soar Fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best ground - Millwall - awful fans moaning constantly but my fav away day this season. The bloke in the Millwall stand to the left of us was brilliant. Kept getting riled up but kept coming back for more.
Bert Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best away day was probably Burnley on the whole. Best scenes after a goal was King v Blackpool. Best ground visited - Yeovil.
Dan Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Best ground in terms of quality - Brighton. Best home fans - Wigan/Forest. Best away fans at Leicester - Leeds, Derby in the cup.
Collo73 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Surely has to be hudders this year?? And who up there says burnley has a great ground?!?! Absolute shit hole pal. Apart from that charlton is always a good away day for me
