lcfcbobby Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Hello all I am just wondering what people think about our left back situation?? We currently have 3 but are they good enough for the premier league?? Konchesky obviously has the premier league experience but he is no spring chicken and I think he might get ripped apart from a lot of right wingers in the premier league Shlupp has the pace but is still learning the left back position Bakiyoko has not even been in Pearson's plans this season in the championship?? What are your thoughts? do you agree? or do you think we need to sign a new left back for the premier league??
Mason Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Benoit Tremoulinas .Dead piece specialist .Attacking left back .28 so experienced and at his peak .Both footed .Very quick
Fox42 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Benoit Tremoulinas .Dead piece specialist .Attacking left back .28 so experienced and at his peak .Both footed .Very quick And he's French
Callabinho Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Spoke to an Ipswich ST holder today, he claims that Cresswell is packing his bags as we speak, predicts he will be here in a few weeks.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Spoke to an Ipswich ST holder today, he claims that Cresswell is packing his bags as we speak, predicts he will be here in a few weeks. Sure qwerty mentioned we were monitoring him before
the_enlightened_one Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Cresswell would be an absolute genius signing, only choice for me.
Ric Flair Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Spoke to an Ipswich ST holder today, he claims that Cresswell is packing his bags as we speak, predicts he will be here in a few weeks. Is he walking here then?
Simonb Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Creswell would be ideal cant comment on bakayogo tho.. injured all season
Jay89LCFC Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Would like to see Sclupp given the chance, however I think Neil Taylor from Swansea would be a smart signing if Pearson was looking to strengthen in that area
lcfcbobby Posted 7 May 2014 Author Posted 7 May 2014 I thought Bakayogo had gone? went out on loan played 20 mins and got injured then got recalled to be treated by our physios
lgfualol Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I think we should put a cheeky 30m bid on Luke Shaw. But really, Cresswell or Umtiti.
kingfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Cresswell or Taylor. Both will be leaving their respective clubs this summer.
Mason Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 who he playing for at moment? On loan at saint-etienne from dynamo kyiv
Narborough_fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Neil Taylor is a good shout but I think it'll end up being Cresswell, especially as we've been reported to be in for him for a while rather than it being a new name.
martyn Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Ikechi Anya. Quick, can play both sides and good going forward. Would fit into our style seamlessly imo.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Only worry is Saints, Newcastle and Everton (?) are reportedly interested. Would Cresswell choose us over them?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Ikechi Anya. Quick, can play both sides and good going forward. Would fit into our style seamlessly imo. I know what you mean, but with Watford playing three at the back, that extra man would cover for Anya going forward as I don't think her's amazing defensively
Brauny Fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I am more concerned at peoples inability to spell 'Schlupp' than the left back situation.
