Corky Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 QPR have more points? Am I missing something? Than Burnley, didn't make it clear originally.

Mark_w Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 Heaton for me, but I would say that, wouldn't i? Nothing in it. Trippier, not even a debate. Shackell and Moore. Mee or Konch? Hobson's choice. Cambiasso, can we have the Cambiasso of 8 years ago? Way too early to tell. Drinkwater/Jones, not much in it, probably Drinkwater. Nugent? No thanks. Ulloa, yes please, with Ings. Airfield over either of you wingers. But, either of your wingers over Wallace, Taylor or Kightly. It's hard to do these comparisons without being swayed towards your own players, but I did try. Have you seen Drinkwater or Mahrez?
AKCJ Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 I take it you have the stats to prove that it's horseshit? Go on then. Give me the stats that PROVE that your defenders are better than ours. They're not, and you know they're not.
veezeeblue Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 But we do have Ings and Vokes, and now Boyd, juke and Barnes. Just on Ings, he was always in Austins shadow and never given the chance as a front man, he's also not really clicked with Juke yet, Sordell actually looks better alongside him. cant wait to play Burnley ... now there´s rivalry ... actually Burnley are joint 8th on LCFC al history of rivals* *number of seasons in 130 years that we´ve fought it out with teams *based on relative final positions in table end of season *include teams that finish 2 positions above and 1 below *inlcude teams level on points * (P) means incudes at least 1 promotion battle Blackpool (P) 15 Everton (P) 12 Manchester United (P) 12 Tottenham Hotspur 12 Leeds City 11 Newcastle United 11 West Ham United (P) 11 Middlesbrough (P) 10 Burnley (P) 10 Arsenal 9 Derby County (P) 9 Hull City 9 West Bromwich Albion (P) 9 nice to see the Sheep made it into the list, sorry no Florest ! Cambiasso turned the game at stoke, the classiest player on the pitch. Surely the Heaton thing is a joke? Morgan is better than Moore and Shackell. BlackburnClaret Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 trippier is probably better than rdl yeah. konchesky is a lot better at left back than ben mee. jeff's not all that but once albrighton starts/lawrence gets a game/knockaert stops dicking about i'd rather have any of them than george boyd all day long. ulloa is better than all their strikers put together, as his stat of 3 goals to their collective 0 clearly proves. am i doing that right? Probably not, a poster further up the thread said I couldn't have Ulloa is the difference because Ings and Vokes both out scored him last season. So, I'm not sure

AKCJ Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 If I were to make up a side of Leicester and Burnley players i'd probably have Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky Mahrez Drinkwater Cambiasso Schlupp Nugent Ulloa Hamer, Wasilewski, Simpson, Hammond, King, Knockaert, Vardy. So, I'm not sure It is simple. You created chances against championship sides, you haven't got the quality to break sides down in this league.. Whereas we have won at stoke, and put 2 past both everton and arsenal.
Babylon Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 This is really quite simple, we were better than Burnley last year and we've carried on being betting than Burnley this year. THE END.
AKCJ Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 Last seasons league table, have a look. You mean the league table that we absolutely walked? You've just shot yourself in the foot mate. Unless you're going to claim that goals conceded is the only means of rating defences?!
BlackburnClaret Posted 14 September 2014 Share Posted 14 September 2014 And arfield was good at the world cup...oh wait he didn't go...unlike mahrez. Haha, what a shit point. So, by that rationale all the players in your squad that didn't go to the World Cup are not as good as any of the players who did.

Mahrez has been one of the most impressive performers in the league so far this year. There is a reason we are receiving constant praise from the media, whereas you are still favourites to go down.
