Jonzey01 Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Being an 8year old has one memory, that infamous last minute goal to break our hearts. However one year later I can quite clearly remember Matt Elliott bagging a brace and the rest is history. I also witnessed one unlucky Tottenham fan bottled just 3 seats down, celebrating in the Leicester end. Anyone any other memories, we could be back there soon... Freeman's Wharfer Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 A random memory I have of that Spurs game is walking down Wembley Way with Spurs fans chanting "Ginola!" on the right side of Wembley Way and Leicester fans replying "fell over!" on the left! Vlad the Fox Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Some geezer in front of me got a whack. he cheered when spurs scored and then as the final whistle loomed some lad went and stood next to him on the aisle, when the ref blew full time he lumped him one and quickly left. Col city fan Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Went to the Tranmere final Missed the spurs one Same here mate. The Tranmere one was one of the only finals we've played where we just knew we were gonna win. And we did of course.
Filbert_Ross Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Born in 81, I was lucky to be old enough to go to all the play off finals and the 3 league cup finals at wembley that followed. Thought Tranmere was the drabest of the lot, maybe because of the opposition and even though we went 1-0 down it still didn't feel like we were going lose. Can't complain about that though. Hoping we are on the verge of more cup success and European football. We'll probably follow the rule that staying up is more important than winning something though, which is a bit of a shame. Tom17LCFC Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Went to both. Remember the Spurs one more clearly for some reason. Absolutely hate them, seem to vaguely remember something kicking off down Wembley Way as well that time. Tranmere was boss.

Col city fan Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 The only game I've cried at was the Swindon play off final. First, tears of utter disbelief.. followed by tears of utter disbelief. I have never been through such a roller coaster of emotion in any football match. Gutted wasn't the word.
Haydos Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 Aye, crushed when that last minute winner went in, 10 year old me was in tears. Stefan Iverson or Nielsen was it? I just remember Dave Challinor's long throws from the Tranmere game

Fox in the North Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 As a 7 year old watching the Spurs final, I was a wreck. Then to have to go into school the day after and get ridiculed about "Leicester Shitty" was awful A year later, the day at Wembley against Tranmere was just amazing, I remember Matty Elliot's second goal like it was yesterday

Vlad the Fox Posted 21 May 2014 Share Posted 21 May 2014 We had a good drink with some spurs fans after (which helped to lighten our mood) at a train station somewhere after, singing each others songs and then in a corner of the pub about 4 exeter fans started singing. Drunk, I then accosted some spurs fans in their range range rover at rugby train station giving them stick for not supporting their hometown team. The wus's just sat there and took it before i let them go. Last thing i remember is being in a pub in rugby somewhere with the landlady sat on my knee and a stash of porn mags (???) under my seat.
