FoxyPalace.com Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 No thanks, Arsenal fans cant wait to get rid of him!
NewburyFox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 You do realise that the bottom 10 teams in the prem are no better than the top 10 of the championship? That's a huge exaggeration. I don't think there's too much of a gulf, but your statement suggests that Newcastle are no better than Bournemouth, which is ridiculous.

Weller in Tights Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 If we sign this guy I will stop supporting Leicester City Come on Leicester, pull all resources together and sign him!
MGLCFC Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 I always saw Bendtner as the poor relation at Arsenal - never really quite good enough to warrant a long run in the first team - a bit like Chris Wood this season for us. If he was the main striker and was well man managed, a skill which Pearson is famous for, then he could turn out to be a fantastic acquisition. It's a bit of a gamble I suppose, but at least he has played at the highest level and at 26 should be at his peak.

If you watch Newcastles last 10 games and then Bournemouths last 10, it isnt so ridiculous. You made a good point but backed it up with 2 awful examples dude. Still for Nicky B the place to be is L C F C!!!!
FLINTHAMFC Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 I wanted to watch arsenal a few years back, mainly for fabregad and van persie, and as it was unlikely it would be against city I plumped for Leeds v arsenal in a cup game (have a friend who is a Leeds fan for his sins). Every time bendtner shanked the ball, which seemed every time he touched it, they sang that's why you're 52, that's why you're 52. he was shocking! I have witnessed one worse performance by a forward. I was dragged to notts county v man city a few years back and Jo gave bendtner a run for his money that day. I guess bendtner could control the ball, sort of. Not really a Pearson signing. more like lazy journalism.

Which I now realise is daft as 10th is in the top 10 rather than the bottom 10, and as such I should've chosen 11th, which is Palace So Palace and Bournemouth, if you will.

Any teams you choose from those numbers there isnt much between. Brighton vs Sunderland Norwich vs Forest Derby vs Fulham Burnley vs Villa Etc etc. This myth that any team in the Premiership is that much better is quickly coming to an end.

Ric Flair Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 We've scouts at tonight's match between Denmark and Sweden, might not be in relation to Bendtner but we're interested in someone in those two squads.

I'd expect us, Burnley, QPR and Derby to be able to be competitive with their current teams, but I fail to believe that teams like Reading, Brighton, Blackburn, Ipswich would stand much chance in the Premiership. Of course give anyone £60m to spend in the summer once they've got there then they should be able to build a squad capable of competing.

Højbjerg has played really well tonight. Young midfielder from Bayern, would like to see him come in on loan. Bendtner isn't playing. Maybe we are in for Ibra!!

MC Prussian Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 Eriksen confirmed No chance. Just signed for Tottenham for £££ last summer. Unless it's a loan move.
lgfualol Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 No chance. Just signed for Tottenham for £££ last summer. Unless it's a loan move. haha, yeah it was just a joke. I would probably faint if we signed him.
Buzzell Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 haha, yeah it was just a joke. I would probably faint if we signed him. Really? I thought you was being serious?
VinceNoir Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 It's for NB, surely - is he on the bench? Nope. In other news, Kasper is having a decent game.

1972 Fox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 He is CRAP! Id rather stick up top! That would be a bit unfair on Top. After all him and his Dad have done for our club!
ousefox Posted 28 May 2014 Posted 28 May 2014 My mate raved about him at Sunderland and he had a decent scoring record their I think. Reckon he'll team up with Bruce again at Hull and do quite well there
