MC Prussian Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 I'm highly critical of his character, but would embrace the club's decision to sign him - apart from the wage issue, he'd come on a free. Bendtner warrants one last chance to prove himself (and maybe be the main man up front). However, he's got to work hard on his attitude and cut down on the escapades.

I just think we are a. club where he could thrive. A great work ethic, no (??) massive egos. And he would be our 'superstar''. All the kids would have his name on their shirts. I get the impression he feeds off that sort of attention and we would give it to him. In huge amounts. He'd be playing week in week out. He could prove points to doubters by filling PL nets full of goals. We could be heroes. Just for one day .......

Playing shit teams week in and week out so he can sleepwalk through, and then just putting the effort in for the big games and Champions League. Can’t see him putting in the kind of effort that we’ll need from all our players next season. If we signed him I’d metaphorically rip up my season ticket.

shen Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 We've scouts at tonight's match between Denmark and Sweden, might not be in relation to Bendtner but we're interested in someone in those two squads. There aren't too many obvious targets in the Danish side that played. The only ones that could be realistic targets are Jacob Ahlmann (left back), William Kvist or possibly Kasper Kusk (winger). So my guess is (if they were scouts and not club representatives negotiating with Kasper) they were looking at some of the Swedish players.
